"Kommersant" asked his readers what to expect the Russian national football team. Sergei Yuran, Soviet and Russian football player, coach

There are exactly one hundred days left before the World Cup. It is expected that about two million foreign fans will come to the tournament in Russia. The ticket lottery has already been completed, but tickets will go on free sale next week, Dmitry Kalugin, a sports observer for MIR 24, reports.

World football stars and Russian President Vladimir Putin began the countdown to the World Cup. Up to a hundred times the ball was collectively stuffed by legendary players - Ronaldo, Trezeguet, Alenichev, Maradona and many others. The final blow for Putin.

More than five million applications have been submitted for World Cup tickets. True, there are much fewer physical places.

That's how they cheered at the Confederations Cup. Next summer, a similar picture can be observed in 11 Russian cities. Moreover, not only fans of countries that have made it to the tournament are going to the World Cup. Applications come in huge numbers from China, the US and the Netherlands. However, the majority of seats in the stands will be occupied by Russians - they account for 55% of requests for tickets.

“We have been working for many years to make the tournament really exciting. So that the fans feel comfortable here, and Russia becomes a home for the guests. And almost everything is ready for this,” said Alexei Sorokin, Director of the Russia-2018 Organizing Committee.

The greatest interest among foreign fans is. In the rating of early booking of hotels and housing, the "northern capital" occupies the first line. Fans are ready to stay there for six days and pay about four thousand rubles a day.

The main thing to remember for those wishing to enter the arena is the FAN ID. This is the main document of the World Cup. Without it, you can't get into the stadium even if you have a ticket. To get it, you just need to fill out an online application. It is advisable to do this immediately after purchasing a ticket for the match.

The FAN ID also entitles you to free rail travel between World Cup cities. Some airlines also provide discounts upon presentation of the document. Naturally, only for those matches for which you have tickets. To do this, you also need to register on a separate site.

For foreigners, the FAN ID also replaces a tourist visa to Russia. With this football document, you can enter the country ten days before the World Cup and leave ten days after its completion. However, it is worth remembering that you will need a FAN ID when leaving Russia.

Fans from Peru are among the leaders among those who want to get to the World Cup. Their country got to the World Cup for the first time in 36 years. This event is celebrated even in women's colonies. Prisoners make copies of the talisman of the upcoming tournament with their own hands. The cost of the Peruvian wolf brother Zabivaki is 7.5 euros. Most of the local fans will go to Russia in his company.

The World Championship kicks off on June 14 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. Russia and Saudi Arabia will play in the opening match.

MOSCOW, January 30 - R-Sport, Alexander Rogulev. On Monday football Russia marks a round figure - 500 days before the start of the 2018 World Cup, which will be held in 11 cities of our country from June 14 to July 15 next year. "R-Sport" talks about what surrounds the preparation for the main football tournament four years.

Backlog in stadiums only in Samara

In almost all regions, preparations for the World Cup are in full swing. Stadiums every month more and more begin to resemble what was shown in the pictures during the presentation of projects. If we do not take into account the stadium on Krestovsky Island in St. Petersburg, where every day there is news about the completion, rebuilding, low-quality materials, leakage or something else, then the information background of the rest of the construction projects is positive.

Here, for example, Kazan. There are 500 days before the World Cup, half a year before the Confederations Cup, but work is already underway on the construction of temporary structures on the territory of the Kazan Arena stadium. “Now the normative state of the field is being maintained for its further awakening and maintenance until the Confederations Cup,” Vladimir Leonov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan, told R-Sport. “Currently, the construction of temporary infrastructure has begun on the territory adjacent to the stadium.”

Last week, the head of the organizing committee "Russia-2018", Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation for Sports Vitaly Mutko came to Nizhny Novgorod, where he inspected the facilities of the future championship. Among other things, he said that only the stadium in Samara was behind schedule. The point, according to Mutko, is in planning errors, but in a month and a half everything should be on schedule.

“2017 is a special year for each of the host cities of the World Cup,” Governor of the Samara Region Nikolai Merkushkin told R-Sport. “We have very little time left - 500 days. And each of them should be useful. We we have to complete the construction of all the necessary infrastructure, put the city in order, and this must be done by the end of 2017."

"Football players of the national team for the opening of all stadiums"

If in Samara in 2017 it is necessary to build a stadium, and roads, and training bases, and playgrounds, then in a couple of regions everything is almost ready. We are talking about Kazan and Sochi, which have recently hosted major tournaments. In Yekaterinburg, forces were sent to the stadium and the entrance to it, as well as to the reconstruction of the Mayakovsky Central Park of Culture and Culture, which will become a fan zone during the World Cup.

For a whole year, the main headache in Kaliningrad was the stadium: the local authorities butted heads with the federal authorities over the place on which to build. Oktyabrsky Island was defended, the capacity was reduced to 35,000, and construction began. Needless to say, at an incredibly fast pace. After that, the problem of the region was the airport, which has been under repair for more than a year. Only in last month the problem began to be resolved.

“The other day, a meeting was held with the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency,” Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Kaliningrad Region Alexander Rolbinov told the R-Sport agency. “Today, we can say with confidence that the issue has been resolved regarding the reconstruction of the runway. to the site. Those schedules that are presented, and the forces that the contractor has at his disposal, guarantee that the contract will be completed on time."

An increasingly pressing issue is not when the stadiums will be commissioned, but how they will be opened. Naturally, all regions want to open the arena with a match of the Russian team. But there won't be enough players for Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg and Kaliningrad, not to mention Luzhniki, the main arena of the World Cup. “Of course, there won’t be enough national team players for all the cities,” agrees the general director of Russia-2018, Alexei Sorokin. “If possible, we will make do with local clubs.”

Transfer Threat

The closer the World Cup, the more reports appear about its possible postponement. And the point is not so much in the unwillingness of Russia to accept the World Cup, but in doping scandals around Russian sports. Although it is difficult to trace a direct connection between the two things, international organizations, and primarily WADA, are regularly reminded of this possibility through the media. “I don’t feel tension, there is no anxiety,” Sorokin reassures. “We do not discuss these issues with FIFA. All assurances have been given, and there is no point in returning to them.”

“From a legal point of view, they (WADA) can get this opportunity easily,” sports lawyer Artem Patsev said in November. “It just requires changes to the world anti-doping code. All members of the Olympic movement are required to comply with the requirements of this code. "This is his idea. Paper will endure everything, you can transfer any authority to anyone. Will this help the purity of the sport and its purification? In my opinion, this will only worsen the situation. But I admit that the World Cup can be taken away."

According to the former head of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Richard Pound, the way to deprive Russia of the World Cup can be as follows: a number of countries will announce a boycott of the World Cup, and FIFA will be forced to postpone it. However, to date, no one, with the exception of organizations such as NADOs (National Anti-Doping Agencies), has declared the reality of the boycott of the 2018 World Cup.

According to the Russian side, the tournament, on the contrary, can become an impetus for the return of Russian sports to the "international family". “This is a chance for us to open the country to the world,” says Mutko. “We expect a million fans to come to us. We want this project to leave a huge tangible and intangible legacy. We want this date – 500 days before the World Cup – to pass under the sign of creation, so that the world would recognize Russia, in relation to which there are now many clichés.

World Cup draw will take place in the Kremlin

A couple of years ago, news about the World Cup appeared once a month or less. But the closer to the tournament, the more and more often, almost every week, events of the organizing committee are held in Moscow and other cities of the 2018 World Cup. Many of them are big. What is worth, for example, the draw qualifying tournament World Cup, held in the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg. The city brought together the highest representatives of world football, and on the territory of the residence, a separate building of temporary structures was built specifically for the draw.

No less pompous will be the main draw for the 2018 World Cup, which will take place not just anywhere, but in the Kremlin. It is symbolic that the event is scheduled for December 1 - the day before Russia celebrates the 7th anniversary of preparation for the tournament. “Of course, the organization of any event inside the Kremlin is more difficult than the organization at any other facility in the city,” says Sorokin. “We have secured the consent of all the authorized bodies, received all the permits. was in Konstantinovsky.

Over the past couple of years, the 2018 World Cup has acquired a variety of tournament ambassadors and just famous people from the world of culture and sports, creating the image of the country abroad. Everyone remembers top model Natalia Vodianova, who managed to change three dresses during the preliminary draw for the World Cup in St. Petersburg. The tournament's ambassadors at various times were hockey player Alexander Ovechkin, synchronized swimmer Natalya Ishchenko, cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko and even famous singer Nyusha, who will represent Kazan.

“The World Cup is a grand event in the life of every country,” Nyusha told R-Sport. “Like millions of Russians, I sincerely hope that it will become an impetus for the development of football in our country, make it a sport that will bring Russia new victories. I will definitely be rooting for the Russian national team. But I haven’t decided on other favorites yet. I think I still have time: the Confederations Cup will help me understand who I will worry about, who I will support in the stands."

Haven't won since last fall. And she played the match without conceded goals even a year ago. against New Zealand. Do not take the friendly match with Dynamo seriously...

Yes, and a series of defeats dragged on. The level of rivals could serve as an excuse - Argentines, Spaniards, Brazilians, French. But the other day there were Austrians...

A week and a half before the World Championships, our team accumulated a weighty bundle of negative energy around itself.

We walked to the stadium in a crowd of fans. Against the backdrop of failures, in an atmosphere of criticism, and sometimes even hatred, which is saturated with comments on all sports resources. I wanted to understand what makes people go to the arena anyway, spend their evening, their nerves and their money.

We asked the same questions to different categories of viewers. They asked about the attitude towards the national team and Cherchesov personally - from children, from young student fans, from mature men. Even the grandmother who lives next door. They chose different words, but the essence is the same. And she is classic: In Russia and in its main team, one can only believe. But it is impossible not to believe.

Probably, there could be no other answers. After all, those who think otherwise stayed at home on this cool evening.

I admire the enthusiasm of the fans who are eager to get into the stadium! Everything here is civilized, I don’t feel any negativity! I'm running to the store. I'll take it, and... I'll watch the match on TV, - a local dandelion in a headscarf, a local resident, said with anticipation.

- What makes you still root for the Russian team, which has not been happy with either the game or the results for a long time?

Pride. Pride for your country! - answers the Muscovite and Spartak Victor, who works in the field of transport.

- But after all, they almost only lose a year ...

But I still hope for the best! And that the victories will still come.

- Many criticize Stanislav Cherchesov. How do you feel about him?

Yes, a good coach. I'm not going to criticize him. Let's set up the game and perform with dignity at the World Championships!

- How exactly?

The second place in the group will be ours. I'll go to the matches. I'm also going to the opening.

- And what leads you to the stadium against the backdrop of a series of failures? - a question to student Alexander.

Yes, it's just interesting! And there is still hope that everything will be much better than it is now.

- But due to what?

By chance! - the student laughs - And I urge everyone else to believe. What else is left?

- At least something or someone gives optimism?

The youth. Kutepov, Miranchuki, Golovin. It is obvious. Dzagoev is fine now.

- And how do you like Cherchesov?

I treat him well. Still, this is a man with a capital letter.
