Asian children are easy. VI International Sports Games "Children of Asia"

In Yakutsk on July 16 summed up VI International Sports Games "Children of Asia". The program of the Games featured over 20 sports, including checkers. The Organizing Committee of the VI International Sports Games "Children of Asia" has decided on the dates for large-scale competitions in 2016 - they will be held in Yakutsk from July 6 to 16.

The Prime Minister of Yakutia, Galina Danchikova, at a meeting with the heads of the Olympic Committees of Asian and European countries, noted that national teams from Russian regions, countries of the Asian continent, members of the Olympic Council of Asia, and the Greek national team will also be represented at the competition.

"In total, these are 45 countries. Thousands of athletes will compete for the title of the best in 22 sports," G. Danchikova specified.

She called the Games "Children of Asia" the main social project of Yakutia, "which has made a significant contribution to the development of world children's and youth sports."

By decision of the Organizing Committee, all competitions within the framework of the International Games will be held in Yakutsk. For this, 13 competitive and more than 20 training facilities will be prepared. The winners will be awarded on Lenin Square. The orchestra is already learning the anthems of all participating countries in order to please the "gold" medalists with a "live" performance.

To help young athletes and guests of the games will be two thousand volunteers.

According to tradition, the participants of the competition will be accommodated in Olympic village North-Eastern Federal University. Athletes are promised cozy rooms and meals according to national preferences and individual dietary requirements.

In turn, the director of the department Asian Games The Olympic Council of Asia Haider Farman reminded the Interfax-Far East agency that the period of the Children of Asia games coincides with the end of the celebration of Ramadan by Muslims, because of which, in his opinion, representatives of not all Asian countries will be able to come to the competition.

However, he still expressed his hope that the representation of participants would be significant.

"Our trip is a continuation of cooperation between representatives of the Olympic Committees and the organizers of the International Games. On behalf of the President of the Olympic Council of Asia, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, we want to show our support for Yakutia in organizing such a major event. In the coming months, he intends to visit Yakutia Including to discuss the volume of financial support," H. Farman said.

As reported, on July 20-23, the heads and representatives of the national Olympic committees of Asian and European countries visited Yakutsk in preparation for the upcoming VI International Children's Sports Games "Children of Asia" in 2016. I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

The VI International Sports Games "Children of Asia" (hereinafter referred to as the Games) are held in order to promote the ideas of the Olympic movement, develop children's and youth sports and strengthen international sports cooperation, in accordance with the Concept of the Games approved by the International Committee of the Games "Children of Asia".

The main objectives of the Games are:

strengthening friendship between children of the countries of the Asian continent and regions Russian Federation;

− increase sportsmanship;

− identifying the strongest athletes to prepare the reserve for the Olympic teams of the countries of the Asian continent and the Russian Federation;

development and promotion of adaptive physical culture and sports;

− development and promotion national types sport of the peoples of the Asian continent.

II. PLACE AND DATE OF COMPETITIONS

The Games are held from 5 to 17 July 2016 in the city of Yakutsk, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) of the Russian Federation.

III. COMPETITION ORGANIZERS

The overall management of the preparation and holding of the Games is carried out by the Autonomous non-profit organization"International Committee of the Games "Children of Asia", the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Sports of Russia), the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) of the Russian Federation, the Russian Olympic Committee,The Olympic Council of Asia, the Republican Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the Games (hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee), approved by order of the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) dated July 30, 2013 No. 616-RP.

The powers of the Ministry of Sports of Russia, as the organizer of the Games, are carried out by the Federal State Autonomous Institution "Department for the organization and holding of sports events."

The direct conduct of the Games is entrusted to the Republican Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the Games, the main panel of judges Games, approved by the Organizing Committee and all-Russian sports federations.

IV. REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS AND CONDITIONS FOR THEIR ADMISSION

National teams of the countries of the Asian continent, the Far Eastern, Siberian and Ural federal districts, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan, the city of Moscow of the Russian Federation are allowed to participate in the GamesFederation (in accordance with the agreements concluded with the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), two national teams of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), as well as the national team of the city of Ancient Olympia of the Hellenic Republic (in accordance with the twinning agreement between the cities of Ancient Olympia and Yakutsk).

Completion of national teams from the Russian Federation by typesport is carried out by the relevant all-Russian sportsfederations based on the final results of official competitions held in accordance with the Unified calendar plan interregional, all-Russian and international physical culture and sports events,approved by the Ministry of Sports of Russia.

Age of participants - 16 years and younger (01/01/2000 year of birth and younger).

Official members of delegations and athletes must be provided with a uniform sportswear clothes.

Eight teams (8 juniors + 8 girls) participate in competitions in team sports (basketball, volleyball, football), including:

Four teams from the Russian Federation are the winners of the competitions in the Far East, Siberian and Ural federal districts, national team No. 1 of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia);

Four teams from Asian countries, admitted to participate at the invitation of the Organizing Committee, according to the rating categories of Asian federations by type sports.

Players must have two sets of game uniforms (different in color) and balls for training.

XI. APPLICATION

Preliminary applications for participation in the Games are submitted to the Children of Asia International Games Committee until January 1, 2016. Official applications must be submitted no later than February 1, 2016.

Until March 1, 2016, the Committee sends to the participating countries and constituent entities of the Russian Federation that have confirmed their participation in the Games, the official application forms for participation in the Games. Completed personalized applications with photographs in electronic form for each participant must be received by the Committee no later than June 1, 2016.

On the day of arrival, team leaders submit the following documents to the Commission for the admission of participants in the Games:

Technical applications in the prescribed form for each sport in two copies (Appendix to the Regulations);

- a medical certificate (original) with admission to competitions, for participants in boxing competitions - a boxer's passport (AIBA);

Passport or an equivalent document proving the identity of the participant;

Compulsory medical insurance policy (original) of a citizen of the Russian Federation (for each participant);

Policy (contract) of life and health insurance against accidents (for each participant);

Information about preventive vaccinations carried out within the framework of the national calendars of the participating countries.
