Cross-country ski rental in Izmailovo Park. The best ski track according to the KP rating in the capital’s parks

Journalists of the Kyrgyz Republic have prepared a small guide to best places for skiing in the capital. There is not much time left, so you need to choose proven routes.

As it turned out, there are not many official ski routes in the city. They are in 37 parks, but the total length is no more than 120 kilometers (that’s about more than three kilometers per park). Each ski track can be covered from end to end in 25 minutes.

Sokolniki

There are four rental rentals here for visitors: in the ground area on the 5th Luchevoy Clearing, Main Alley, at the intersection of Pesochnaya Alley and Mitkovsky Proezd, on Bolshoi Putyaevsky Pond.

It's warm inside, there's a map of the park with drawn routes. There is also a storage room for visitors, where you can leave your regular shoes while skiing.

A laser biathlon track has opened on Zolotoy Pond, which differs from the classic biathlon in its shorter distance and the use of laser rifles. During one race, the participant completes five laps (1250 m) and four shooting ranges.

Pros: There is an all-weather ski track, paved by a snowcat, which is used to prepare professional ski slopes. Its length: 2 km, total length of park routes: 45 km.

Cons: It is impossible to ski here - tourists use all the ski tracks as paths. Only the all-weather track was fenced off from people with a net. I didn’t like the equipment: the boots are fastened crookedly, the heel barely hits the ski.

Opening hours: 9.00 - 21.00 (skiing stops at 19.00).

Price: plastic - 150 rubles for 2 hours, semi-plastic - 80 rubles for 2 hours. A laser biathlon session costs 500 rubles.

"Kuzminki"

The official ski track is very short: only 3-4 kilometers. But homemade trails stretch for tens of kilometers!

Several rental points: not far from the main entrance, near the Vlahernskoe estate, on Zarechye street.

Starting this year, rentals include laser rifles for biathlon to make you feel like an Olympian, and bicycles with special winter tires.

Meeting husky dogs is one of the most unusual entertainments of the season. You can meet them, take pictures, and children can ride on cheesecakes pulled by huskies.

Pros: There are always the right boot and ski sizes. You can skate along the paths. There are hills near the ponds! I am pleased with the number of additional services.

Cons: The classic ski track is all trampled down. No backlight.

Opening hours: 9.00 - 20.00 (skiing stops at 17.00).

Price: plastic skis- 200 rubles per hour. Equipment for biathlon - 250 rubles per hour. Husky riding - 500 rubles per 15 minutes.

"Sparrow Hills"

Sparrow Hills now belongs to Gorky Park. But you can officially ski here only near the observation deck.

The official route stretches only 3.8 kilometers. There is only one rental available. To get to him, you will have to pay 300 - 500 rubles (depending on the time and day of the week). The rental point is located in the fenced area of the sports complex.

Pros: What elevation changes! You go from hill to hill. Illuminated trails. There are many amateur slopes - MSU students ride on them on weekdays.

Cons: The place is clearly not for amateurs; you need to be able to turn at speed. There is little space on the official track.

Opening hours: Mondays from 20.00 to 22.00, Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 15.00 and from 20.00 to 22.00, Saturdays from 15.00 to 22.00 and Sundays from 10.00 to 22.00.

Price: plastic skis - 100 rubles for 1 hour + entrance fee from 300 rubles.

"Izmailovo"

16 kilometers of ski tracks, three rental points. Skating only on park paths.

Pros: There are long routes: 3, 5 and 8 kilometers.

Cons: The ski track often intersects walking paths. There is bare asphalt in this place - you have to either take off your skis or slowly cross the obstacle. Frequent pauses spoil the fun.

Opening hours: 12.00 - 20.00 (skiing stops at 19.00) on weekdays and from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekends.

Price: plastic skis - 200 rubles per 1 hour. Deposit: document or 3000 rubles.

"Fili"

9.5 km of ski tracks, two rentals.

Pros: The park has three official ski tracks of 1, 3 and 5 kilometers. All of them are of decent quality - regional skiing competitions are regularly held here. The route goes through picturesque places through the forest.

Cons: No lighting. Due to the fact that the route is laid through trees, it quickly begins to get dark here.

Opening hours: 9.00 - 20.00 (skiing stops at 19.00).

Price: plastic skis - 150 rubles per 1 hour.

But this can be said about anyone active view sports In fact, skiing is safer than running - it puts less strain on joints and develops not only your legs: also your arms, lower back, abdominal and pectoral muscles.

The main benefits of skiing are movement and fresh winter air. When skiing, the load on the body is uniform - all major muscle groups are involved. The chilly winter air strengthens the body: the body is dissatisfied with the cold and begins to adapt - this is how hardening occurs and immunity increases.

He who rides a lot sleeps well. Physical activity in nature - a natural enemy of insomnia. In addition, skating produces the “happiness hormone” - dopamine. It improves mood, fights depression and strengthens nervous system. In the West there is even a term for health activities in the air - landscape therapy.

The vessels are cleared of blood clots, and oxygen easily reaches the organs - with regular classes well-being improves. To keep up with the heart, the capillaries dilate, so increased blood pressure not a threat.

Today we will tell you about the main places for cross-country skiing in Moscow and the surrounding Moscow region. In general, you can just go skiing in virtually every park in Moscow, but there are not so many trails suitable for quality training. Let's look at the main ones.

**Routes of the nearest Moscow region near the Moscow Ring Road

Odintsovo** The route is located near Moscow, runs along the asphalt surface of a roller ski track, that is, the surface is flat and without bumps. As of mid-November, the track was in good condition. There are changing rooms in the stadium building. The route is illuminated at night.

There are 4 and 1.3 km laps. For tourist routes, there are two tracks with a length of 1.8 and 2.6 km. The width of the tracks varies from 3 to 6 meters. Krasnogorsk

The track in Krasnogorsk is one of the oldest in the immediate Moscow region. Qualifications for the World Championships and Olympics have been held here for many years. Unfortunately, now the track is not prepared at the top level, but it’s good for an amateur. Buranami rolls her, by the way, 12-time world champion Ivan Utrobin. As of mid-November, the condition of the loops in the forest is satisfactory, there are mounds and branches, leaves. There is no classic ski track. The circle in and around the stadium is in better condition than the circles in the forest, but decent “Olympic terrain” is not suitable for every beginner. Unfortunately, there are no ski tracks here yet. Therefore, you can only skate. There are paid locker rooms that usually open with the official start of the season, not in November. The 1.5 kilometer circle is illuminated until approximately 19:00. Address: Krasnogorsk, Zorkiy ski stadium, Rechnaya street, building 37.

And such loops in the forest

Bitsa

A favorite place for Moscow skiers, also due to its location - the route is the most “Moscow”. In recent years, it has been threatened by a large construction project, but activists are collecting petitions, which is what we are talking about. So far, the 2.3 kilometer circle, which is located outside the Moscow Ring Road, is in good condition. Address: Moscow, South-Western Administrative District, 36th km of the MKAD.

Romashkovo

A famous place for skiing right next to the Moscow Ring Road. The abundance of circles (from 2 kilometers to 17) and their great length, interesting and moderate relief. The stadium has warm changing rooms. There is no lighting on the track. Address: Romashkovsky forest, 58 kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road.

The rubble on the highway has been removed, and the surface is now being leveled using snowstorms and a harrow. Photo from November 14.

At the moment (mid-November), the track is being prepared rather tentatively, although you can ride. There is a locker room. Address: Moscow region, Khimki district, Olympic training and sports center "Planernaya".

Mid season photo

Sobyanin promised to make the track the best for skiing within Moscow. Let's hope! In the meantime, they made what the park itself calls an “all-weather ski track.” Its length is almost two kilometers. In the evening the track is illuminated with lanterns. To ensure that the snow cover remained in normal condition, the path was fenced on both sides with a mesh fence. Ski track in Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo park Another place on the Muscovite’s ski map is the park around the old Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo estate and surrounding areas. They say this year they started replacing heating pipes there and dug up part of the route, cutting off a couple of loops. But the route is still convenient for people who live nearby.

Great lawn of Moscow State University One five-kilometer circle near the main building of Moscow State University. When a lot of snow is prepared with a retractor, the height difference here is used to the maximum, although it is small - there is a small slope along the route along Kosygina Street.
