New league fitness club address. Fitness club "New League"

Hello! I want to tell you the story of my experience with this “wonderful” club. At the beginning of 2012, the club was young and attracted its visitors as best it could. Choosing among clubs in my area, I settled on the New League club for the reason “very favorable conditions"membership. My husband and I are often absent from Moscow and buying a yearly subscription is not profitable for us, because the usual frost is not enough, we are absent much longer sometimes. At that moment, the New League club offered following conditions: unlimited membership fee for membership in the club 7500 rubles + 2500 rubles per month. There is no need to pay every month, only as needed. That is, you took a month off, then you can stop going for a while, you wanted to recover - you came, paid 2500 and you study for the month you paid for. The membership fee of 7,500 rubles does not count towards anything, it is a fee for using such conditions, and FOR LIFETIME! We worked out for a while (several months), left, and then for some time we simply lived without sports. And so, after a year, we decided to resume our classes at the club again. We come to good mood, and they answer us: our conditions have changed, buy a subscription for a year! Excuse me, dear ones, my husband said, but what about the conditions for which we paid 15,000 rubles last year? We have a contract in hand. To which they answer us: we don’t know anything, our conditions have changed, we called everyone, offered to switch to new conditions on a preferential basis, but we didn’t get through to you (there are two of us and there were no calls to either me or my husband, we didn’t have phone numbers We never turn it off!) In general, it’s a long story, we’ve been communicating with this club for about two weeks now, and the response is simply rudeness. They don’t offer any alternative, they don’t return the money for the fee, nor any preferential terms, as you understand.. To be honest, I’m completely shocked, they don’t even care that we have two contracts in hand.. We would agree to any preferential terms, if then two months free or a discount for an annual subscription, whatever it is... They just sent us! This is the attitude towards “beloved clients”!!! Draw your own conclusions, friends, because this situation can happen to anyone! And I’ll probably turn to the Consumer Protection Union, it’s not about the money, it’s about who you are considered to be in our country!

P.S. Dear administration of the New League club, your managers, unfortunately, cannot provide us with your information: full name, telephone number where we can communicate with you. You apparently don’t consider it necessary to listen to your clients. But you still have the opportunity! Call me, I’m ready for a compromise until an application is submitted to the required authority. Your client is Chernysh Alesya.

In my entire life, this is the fourth fitness club whose services I have used. There were cheap chain companies that made clubs in basements with a terrible damp smell. There were cool networks like Zebra with a swimming pool, about which I have only pleasant memories. And now I’ve moved and go to the club closest to my house - New League.

When I was invited to a free trial lesson and they gave me a tour, I didn’t have such a reaction inside: “Oh God, yes! I want to study here!” I immediately drew attention to the shortcomings, since they were the ones that worried me. But first things first.

1. Location

Fitness club New League is part of a large organization New League, which includes a whole complex of sports grounds. In addition to the three-story building of the complex itself, on the territory there is a basketball court under an inflatable canopy (sometimes used as a concert venue for events), a kerning center, tennis court and open basketball court. It's all located inside Festivalny Park at the intersection of Olympic Avenue and Sushchevsky Val, that is, directly on the Third Transport Ring. Near Maryina Roshcha and Rizhskaya metro stations.

In my opinion, the location is convenient for those who live nearby, mainly inside the Third Transport Ring. Getting there through traffic jams is quite problematic. I chose it precisely because of its location, less than 3 minutes from home.

2. Cost

For a subscription for a year without time limits it was given 23,000 rubles. There was also an option with a time limit - 17,600 rubles from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. or from 4 p.m. to midnight. It’s hard to say whether it’s a lot or a little. If you compare it with the same zebra (I went to the club on Ryazansky Prospekt and Proletarskaya metro station), then it turns out even cheaper, but there was also a swimming pool. There is no swimming pool here, although they once said there would be one.

3. Comfort

In order to see everything with your own eyes, I suggest looking at the photographs. It all starts, of course, from the locker room. Everything is as usual here. Photos were taken on Saturday at 9 am, the hall is still empty.

Everything is a little shabby, but overall it’s still very, very good. The cabinets are small, but everything you need fits in them well. It’s nice that each one has two hangers for clothes - it turns out neat. Other clubs did not have them at all, or they had such inconvenient “anti-vandal” ones, sewn into the beam so that they would not be carried away.

We settle down, change clothes, and prepare for classes. The locker room is located on the 1st floor, next to the entrance.

There is a cooler in the locker room, which is always nice. Scales, two washbasins and two powder rooms with sinks. There is a board with current club news and class schedules.

Hair dryers, by the way, are normal, you can use them without worry, there is a cold drying mode. I didn’t take pictures of the showers and hammam because there were people there. Let's go upstairs, it's time to start classes!

The building, of course, is very beautiful, nothing can be said about it. It's worth paying for interior comfort, space and a great view from the window.

In the photo below is the zone power loads, different dumbbells, plates, barbells. I rarely go there - just for the dumbbells

IN big hall mix of cardio and strength training equipment. I like cardio more, there is a complete set here, and there are really a lot of exercise equipment: 12 treadmills, 6 exercise bikes, 3 step machines, 6 ellipticals , two of them are somehow unusual.

These are such cool exercise machines, all practically new, with a TV (sometimes it doesn’t work), almost everything is regularly in working order, and even during rush hour you can find a free exercise machine! It seems like these devices are kind of sophisticated, you can install an application and monitor your workouts, connect via WiFi, etc., but somehow I’m not particularly interested in this, and no one is eager to help me understand the programs.

On the 2nd floor, in addition to cardio and strength training equipment there are also 2 restrooms, a room for group classes, a room for individual lessons with different devices (ladders, step steps, hoops, mats, dumbbells, weight plates, etc.). Previously there were 2 of them, now one of them houses a medical office, where for an additional fee you can take a body mass index test (costs about 1000 rubles, essentially a useless thing).

On the third floor there is a room for group classes, for individual classes, as well as a room for boxing and yoga. In the photo, the yoga room is my favorite. During the day it is free, you can go up and work out here completely alone with a beautiful view of the city.

4. Workload

In the morning the hall is empty. There are really a lot of people in the evening and this is normal and this is the case everywhere. Usually everyone goes to the gym after work, like me. Pushing through the locker room is a special pleasure. I envy those who can afford to go to the gym on weekdays.

Perhaps that's all the advantages. But there is another side that decides a lot. Because of which, in particular, I most likely will not renew my subscription but will look for something else nearby.

Disadvantages or REALLY PISSING!!!

1. Hall

Everything is a little unusual here. The hall is large, combined with a cafe-bar. That is, you actually walk into the hall, it smells like fried chicken and Caesar sauce, and you’re like, just come to train :)

Next, it is assumed that you need to undress, it’s winter after all. Each visitor has a bag, a jacket, a scarf in his hands, and also a mandatory rule of the club is to wear shoe covers. Only for sitting down in the club there is only 1 sofa (2 more chairs were installed in the spring of 2017). The sofa is tiny, you just need to put your bag and jacket on it and there’s nowhere to sit, not that there’s room for a second person. And then the corps de ballet begins. Half-sitting, half-lying, you put on shoe covers, catch your jacket and scarf falling in the air, because in order to check everything into the cloakroom you must first put on shoe covers, then give a card to the reception, get a key and a card for a towel, hand in your things, get a towel... ahh! Even when I think about it, it makes me angry, I don’t want to go anywhere. Why can’t the space be organized (and it allows this) in such a way that you don’t have to rush to different ends of the hall to finally get permission to enter. Place at least 2 more sofas, not chairs! And another question for the New League administration... Why do you need 2 security guards? What are these people protecting there?

2. Cafe in the lobby

This is not even just a cafe for club visitors, but a place that has already become a cult “in the area”; crowds smoke here at the entrance, I constantly see my neighbors eating and drinking (they do not visit the club itself). The cafe does not operate for visitors at all, but some kind of parallel business, a hookah bar within 5 minutes. I don’t really understand who needs this, on the one hand it’s beautiful - you walk in, and there are tables around the reception, fresh flowers everywhere. On the other hand, who cares about a fitness club cafe? There’s also this, right at the entrance.

3. Magnetic door

I hope this amuses you, but the dressing room is divided into two parts by a door with a magnetic lock. The keychain is located on the bracelet that you receive at the reception. And now you, having finally completed the quest with changing clothes, shoe covers, exchanging one card for a friend, think that you have passed all the obstacles, but no! There is one more thing to overcome - the magnetic door. Loaded with a backpack and a towel, you have to manage to attach a tiny key fob to the magnetic shield and open the door. Moreover, there is a guard (and sometimes 2) sitting right at the door. Explain to me why this triple security system is needed? Despite the fact that behind the cafe there is a staircase with an open entrance, which any visitor to the cafe can climb, simply by waiting for the waiter and the security guard to be distracted. But if you came to the club to practice, then be so kind as to pass all the tests with dignity! Really annoying.

4. Extra towels for money

Ok, 1 card - 1 towel, that's fair! But why not clean the hammam very well then? I don’t understand this, the administrator himself tried to wrap himself in a towel and sit on a bench in the hammam? Do you know what will happen to him when you get up? And no, I’m not talking about a million bacteria and fungi, there are black spots on it!!! Well, how is this possible? Whether this is mold, or some kind of grout from the tiles that lined the bench is being painted - I don’t know, the impression is terrible. When it’s summer you can still “dry off” after a shower and not use this towel, but in winter you had to carry your own with you. In addition, if we talk about the hammam, the smell there is often unpleasant, sour (even after the reconstruction in 2017). I don’t know how they deal with this, but in general they are disgusted. And many girls come without underwear and without a towel and sit down with their bare, excuse me, buttocks and steam just like that. How's that? I think this is before the first fungus or STD, then they will understand why to do this under no circumstances is it possible.

5. Lost my umbrella

Well, of course, this is not to do with the administration, but rather just an individual situation that ruined my mood. It was a rainy day, so I came with an umbrella. I left it in the wardrobe. While I was studying, it became clear that I had left the umbrella in the dressing room and simply forgot about it. The next day I came to pick it up, but they told me that there was no black umbrella. They offered to take another one - not mine, but I refused. They don’t know where it went. It's a small thing, but it's a shame.

6. Lack of soundproofing of the halls

It’s a little infuriating when you’re lying relaxed in yoga and suddenly you hear shouts from the next room: “Come on, come on, you want to lose your fat? One, one, one! Let’s go for the second round!” or someone's emotional groans from the boxing gym. Why can’t it be better to isolate the halls from each other, so that yoga is generally separate from everyone? After all, it requires relaxation and concentration, and this makes people laugh, distracts, and annoys those involved.

7. Some group classes are paid

Naturally, it is not clear why to maintain such personnel gathered people, you need to charge extra money for something (well, except for towels). The administration came up with the idea of charging money for group classes. One of the ones that really upset me - " Healthy back"is carried out for a separate payment, is not included in the subscription. How much it costs - I don’t know; in principle I won’t go for money.

8. Showers without doors

I perfectly understand the logic of most club owners. Why make doors if a person can lock himself in there and don’t know what to do?? But, damn it, you can also say about the toilet - then let’s not make doors there either, but what’s wrong? I'm offended by fitness clubs that don't have small shower doors. I believe that every person has the right to personal space. Everyone who comes to the club has different physiology, orientation, and religion. You need to somehow respect a person's boundaries. I personally don’t like washing in front of everyone, especially since the stalls are so tightly packed in a small room, everyone who enters immediately finds themselves in the epicenter of events, there isn’t even a nook. I have no complexes, but honestly I wouldn’t like to show or observe some things, don’t get me wrong!

9. Solarium in the locker room

It would seem that it was worth building a three-story fitness club building and then stuffing a solarium into the women's locker room! So when I undressed I regularly smelled of toasted skin and tanning lotion in the solarium, plus the heat from it. Is this even legal?

10. Hello 90s!

In general, I love this in every club. Instead of coming up with cool, modern loyalty schemes, managers choose to make money the old fashioned way. A striking example is a display case at the entrance with jars of the most common shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, caps, washcloths, etc. at a price of 400-500r. They were probably bought across the road in the 7th continent, but are sold with a markup of 1000% (apparently to recoup the costs of the manager who went for a chocolate bar and also grabbed gels). It's GONE! Ridiculous, disrespectful to the club's visitors. Who needs these gels at this price? Such items should be in travel packaging with the club logo and given free of charge upon request. A nice bonus that increases loyalty. Manager, adopt a ready-made business idea!

That's probably all. Why then 4 stars if there are so many shortcomings? The thing is that the most important thing for me is the training equipment. I come to study, the rest I just note, but I don’t concentrate on the shortcomings. You can exercise, everything is fine with the exercise machines, even though BEFORE they you have to go through a number of uncomfortable moments.

And also important plus- nice staff. The girl in the locker room is always smiling and pleasant to talk to, the cleaners in the locker rooms always help you find lost things. Several times I saw how the cleaning lady washed the window sills, benches, mirrors, etc., that is, they really monitor the cleanliness. The girls at the reception are also nice and help if needed.

Here's a review, thank you for your attention!

They're stealing! When visiting the New League fitness club on October 10, 2016, I left my boots in the locker room under the bench, as everyone does, because... The lockers do not have a dedicated place for shoes. Left the locker room at 18:55, returned to the locker room after class at 19:50. My pair of shoes was missing. I looked at all possible places in the locker room. I contacted the administrators about this problem. The girls were indifferent, they only referred to the cleaning lady who had information on forgotten things. They said that the club does not bear any responsibility for items left unattended. I turned to Tatyana Marchuk, sales manager, because... she led the conclusion of my contract, I knew her. I want to clarify that I visited by that time this fitness club only 1.5 weeks. Tatyana showed at least some interest and said that I needed to contact Elena Orlova (deputy receptionist) about this issue. I decided to leave a statement regarding this incident addressed to the General Director of the fitness club, and insisted that the statement be endorsed by the fitness club staff, in particular the girls from the reception. 2 days later Elena called me back saying that she couldn’t do anything. I didn’t contact the police that evening because I thought that someone had simply mixed up the shoes, perhaps unintentionally taking mine instead of theirs. I couldn’t even think of such a disgrace as stealing shoes in a fitness club. Given the fact that everyone leaves their shoes under the benches. The question remains in the same state: the reception doesn’t care, the sales department doesn’t deal with this kind of issues, they send me to security and the cleaning lady. The security openly laughed at me, saying that maybe I had vision problems, etc. A week later, when my hopes for returning the stolen goods were gone, I urgently asked to take action, in particular to watch the video for that hour in which the theft occurred. Elena took a distant position and refused to show the video without an order from law enforcement agencies. And when she finally agreed to let me watch the recording, she deliberately delayed the time, and the video was deleted due to the limited time of storing information on the server. At the same time, Elena behaved rudely during all meetings when talking to me. It seems that the staff of the New League fitness club is responsive and attentive only until the conclusion of the contract. Even after 1.5 weeks, I was faced with an extremely unpleasant situation both financially and morally in this establishment. There was no attention, understanding or respect from the staff of the New League fitness club. They steal in the fitness club, but the staff don't care. I’m very upset, I have no desire to visit the above-mentioned club, despite quite good equipment and group classes.
