If “ordinary” people had been in the place of these victims, then the case certainly would not have received wide publicity - the representatives of the football players practically managed to buy the recording from the cafe, Pak’s driver interfered.
The identities of the attackers are also important. Of course, there are many such drunken showdowns that happen every day, but the football players behaved too brazenly, beat people up in front of others and made it clear in every possible way that nothing would happen to them for this.
Now both football players, as well as Kokorin’s brother, have been arrested; the court has chosen this preventive measure until December 8. A case has been filed against them under Art. 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beatings) and Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism by an organized group).
