What did Xherdan Shaqiri and Granit Xhaka show in the match Serbia - Switzerland. Shaqiri, Djerdan Beginning of professional career at Basel

Hi all!

The holidays are coming to an end, everyone will be back to work soon, football life slowly starts to bloom. It's been a week now since the winter transfer window has been open, and as a Bayern fan, of course, I'm worried about all the transitions to and from the team.

Many news portals published news about the possible transfers of two players - this is Pierre - Emil Hoiberg and Xherdan Shaqiri. Nothing has been heard about the first. But about the second, today there was already specific news from the sports portal www.championat.com (with a link to the website of the Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio), which said that the Italian Inter and Bayern had already agreed on the transfer of Shaqiri, the whole question remains in value. The Bavarians want to get € 16-17 million for their midfielder, and Inter offer 13. The issue of the amount will be resolved in the coming days, and Xherdan will most likely go to conquer Italy.

Xherdan Shaqiri - Swiss football star

In anticipation of the POSSIBLE! Shaqiri's transition to another club, I would like to talk about him as another Bayern player, recall all the interesting moments of his playing career.

Xherdan Shaqiri was born on October 10, 1991 in Gnjilane (Kosovo). He is still quite young and his playing career is just beginning, but already at 23 he has achieved a lot.

Immediately after his birth, his family moved to Switzerland, for the national team of which he plays.

My football career Xherdan started at a club called "August". next career club young football player became the notorious Basel, the number one club in Switzerland.

A career at Basel was very successful, he came to the attention of many interested in his talent football agents, who made him tempting offers, but Xherdan remained faithful to his club, for the time being.

In 2009, Shaqiri signed a "serious" professional contract with Basel and began scoring his first official goals for the club.

Achievements in Switzerland: in total 5 titles won - three times became the champion of the country and won the cup twice.

The next step in your career. His speed, feints, powerful long-range shots and, in general, all his playing talent did not go unnoticed, and he signs a contract with Bayern Munich, this happened in 2012, on July 1. The contract is designed for 4 years, but in all likelihood, you will have to break it ahead of time.

International career

For the national team of his country, Shaqiri began playing in the summer of 2010, or rather on July 5, when he was released onto the field as a substitute two minutes before the end of the match with the Italian national team.

Shaqiri was included in the application for the Swiss first team for the 2010 World Cup, where he managed to play only once. Xherdan was the youngest player in the tournament.

In 2011, Shaqiri became silver medalist European Youth Championships.

The World Cup in Brazil once again showed us and proved who he is. When I watched the match against the national team of Honduras, I was simply shocked by his most beautiful goals, and then also by the hat-trick!!! After this game, Shaqiri will be named best player on the field.

Bayern

As mentioned above, Shaqiri joined the club in 2012. He entered the field at number 11. He played 52 matches in which he scored 12 goals. Won 9 trophies.

Plays on the edge of midfield. He gives excellent passes, is efficient, scores goals. Shaqiri did not always get a place in the first team in the first half of the German championship, but when he entered the field, he definitely did not spoil the game.

The statistics in the last half of the season (2014/2015) is as follows: played only 15 matches (9 Bundesliga, 4 Champions League, one each in the German Cup and the Super Cup), scored 2 goals.

With Munich, Shaqiri won 9 trophies:

1. He became the champion of Germany in the seasons 2012/2013 and the next 2013/2014.

2. Won the German Cup twice in the same years.

3. Became the owner of one time: German Super Cup (2012), Champions League (2012/2013), UEFA Super Cup (2013), Club World Cup (2013), Telekom - Cup tournament (2013).

All in all, achievement list Xherdana is quite impressive, especially considering his age and the huge prospects for further football growth.

Such a player, in my opinion, will not get lost in any other team and will have to go to court everywhere.

My opinion

Why is he leaving?

The club has a lot of competition in midfield and Xherdan does not always come out victorious in the fight for a place in the base. He is young and he needs to get game practice, so at this stage of time, I think that Shaqiri is acting reasonably, professionally, choosing playing time spent on the field, and not the status and opportunities of the club.

Who will lose when Shaqiri leaves?

Lose both sides ... The question is, who is more? Shaqiri will leave the best club world, but will get (at least should get) a permanent place in the first team and continue to grow as a player.

Bayern will lose one of the most promising young players and ... EVERYTHING!

My opinion

I will say this, if the management could keep Shaqiri, it would have done it 200% (and definitely did), but it seems that opinions did not match, so Xherdan wants to leave the team. In principle, while Robben, Gotze and other midfield players are in order, Shaqiri does not have much chance to outshine them and become a main player. But in the future, he could become the leader of Bayern (perhaps in the long term).

I personally like Xherdan's game: his dribbling, speed, stability (like a bull on the field) and, although rare, but gorgeous goals. I wish him only good luck and I will be glad if he does not move to another club and stay with us!

What do you think? What is your opinion on the possible transfer of Xherdan Shaqiri?

Sincerely,

Celebrating the winning goal against Serbia, depicted the wings of a bird. A little earlier, another player of the Swiss team also noted his success Xhaka Granite.

What does it mean?

Everyone is sure that the players made a reference to the flag of Albania, their historical homeland. In addition to this gesture, Shaqiri spent the second match in boots, which depict the flags of Switzerland and Kosovo.

Why would they do that?

For several reasons. First, Shaqiri was born into a Kosovo Albanian family and has three passports: Albanian, Swiss and Kosovo. In fact, the celebration is a completely political gesture.

Secondly, Kosovo and its status, as well as relations between Albania and Serbia, is the subject of long political discussions. Shaqiri was born in Kosovo and his family later emigrated to Switzerland. Xhaka's father was convicted for protesting against the communist regime. Serbian fans greeted both players with a whistle. And in Shakiri they threw everything that came to hand when he celebrated a goal.

What can FIFA do?

Most likely nothing. Shaqiri had every right to put the flag of Kosovo on the boots, since he is a member of FIFA. The equipment of football players is always checked before matches, the midfielder has worn boots for the second time – FIFA has no complaints against him.

Celebrations are even more difficult. Yes, on a general level, everyone understands exactly what kind of bird Jaka and Shaqiri portrayed. But the gesture itself is not prohibited, it will be difficult to prove its political overtones and punish the players. Rather, sanctions will be applied to those Serbs who threw objects at the players.

Winning goal in boots with the flag of Kosovo. The main thing about the match Serbia - Switzerland

The Serbs ruined everything for themselves.

What do the players themselves say?

“I will not talk about my gesture, you saw what I did - these are emotions. These were emotions, and I don’t ascribe anything else to this and don’t want to talk about my gesture, ”Shaqiri said, answering a question from the Championship correspondent Nikita Kuzin.

Already in the mixed zone, Shaqiri was asked to make a statement to the Serbian media. The midfielder asked for an English translation. Hearing the clarification, he turned around and left.

Why is this being discussed?

FIFA is constantly striving to get away from politics in football, especially at matches. The game between Switzerland and Serbia initially suggested the possibility of provocations, but in general everything went quite calmly. "Eagles" from Shaqiri and Jaka are in fact the first political gestures in the entire tournament.

In addition, many are outraged that Xhaka and Shaqiri make references to their historical homeland, speaking for a completely different country. In many interviews, Shaqiri himself cannot fully explain which country he considers his native: he emphasizes that he was born in Kosovo, and speaks Albanian at home. Jaka's older brother Taulant plays for Albania.

Xherdan Shaqiri is an Albanian-born Swiss professional footballer who plays as a winger for English club Stoke City and the Swiss national team. An excerpt characterizing Shaqiri, Jherdan

During the passage of the marshal, the prisoners huddled together, and Pierre saw Karataev, whom he had not seen this morning. Karataev was sitting in his overcoat, leaning against a birch. In his face, in addition to the expression of yesterday's joyful tenderness at the story of the innocent suffering of the merchant, there was also an expression of quiet solemnity.
Karataev looked at Pierre with his kind, round eyes, now covered with tears, and, apparently, called him to him, wanted to say something. But Pierre was too scared for himself. He acted as if he hadn't seen his eyes and hurried away.
When the prisoners started off again, Pierre looked back. Karataev was sitting on the edge of the road, by a birch; and two Frenchmen said something over him. Pierre did not look back anymore. He walked limping up the hill.
Behind, from the place where Karataev was sitting, a shot was heard. Pierre clearly heard this shot, but at the same moment he heard it, Pierre remembered that he had not finished the calculation he had begun before the marshal's passage about how many crossings were left to Smolensk. And he began to count. Two French soldiers, one of whom held a shot, smoking gun in his hand, ran past Pierre. They were both pale, and in the expression of their faces - one of them looked timidly at Pierre - there was something similar to what he saw in a young soldier at an execution. Pierre looked at the soldier and remembered how this soldier of the third day burned his shirt while drying at the stake and how they laughed at him.
The dog howled from behind, from the place where Karataev was sitting. “What a fool, what is she howling about?” thought Pierre.
The comrade soldiers, walking next to Pierre, did not look back, just like he did, at the place from which a shot was heard and then the howling of a dog; but a stern expression lay on all faces.

The depot, and the prisoners, and the convoy of the marshal stopped in the village of Shamshev. Everything was huddled around the fires. Pierre went up to the fire, ate roasted horse meat, lay down with his back to the fire and immediately fell asleep. He slept again in the same dream as he slept in Mozhaisk after Borodino.
Again the events of reality were combined with dreams, and again someone, whether he himself or someone else, spoke to him thoughts, and even the same thoughts that were spoken to him in Mozhaisk.
“Life is everything. Life is God. Everything moves and moves, and this movement is God. And as long as there is life, there is the enjoyment of the self-consciousness of the deity. Love life, love God. It is most difficult and most blessed to love this life in one's suffering, in the innocence of suffering.
"Karataev" - Pierre remembered.
And suddenly Pierre introduced himself as a living, long-forgotten, meek old man who taught geography to Pierre in Switzerland. "Wait," said the old man. And he showed Pierre the globe. This globe was a living, oscillating ball, without dimensions. The entire surface of the sphere consisted of drops tightly compressed together. And these drops all moved, moved, and then merged from several into one, then from one they were divided into many. Each drop strove to spill out, to capture the greatest space, but others, striving for the same, squeezed it, sometimes destroyed it, sometimes merged with it.
“This is life,” said the old teacher.
“How simple and clear it is,” thought Pierre. How could I not have known this before?
- In the middle is God, and each drop tends to expand in order to reflect him in the largest size. And it grows, merges, and shrinks, and is destroyed on the surface, goes into the depths and emerges again. Here he is, Karataev, here he spilled and disappeared. - Vous avez compris, mon enfant, [You understand.] - said the teacher.
- Vous avez compris, sacre nom, [You understand, damn you.] - shouted a voice, and Pierre woke up.
He got up and sat down. By the fire, squatting on his haunches, sat a Frenchman, who had just pushed a Russian soldier away, and fried the meat put on the ramrod. Wiry, tucked up, overgrown with hair, red hands with short fingers deftly turned the ramrod. A brown, gloomy face with furrowed brows was clearly visible in the glow of the coals.
“Ca lui est bien egal,” he grumbled, quickly addressing the soldier behind him. - ... brigand. Va! [He doesn't care... Rogue, right!]
And the soldier, turning the ramrod, looked gloomily at Pierre. Pierre turned away, peering into the shadows. One Russian soldier, a prisoner, the one who was pushed away by the Frenchman, sat by the fire and ruffled something with his hand. Peering closer, Pierre recognized a purple dog, which, wagging its tail, was sitting next to the soldier.
- Did you come? Pierre said. “Ah, Pla…” he began and did not finish. In his imagination, suddenly, at the same time, connecting with each other, there arose a memory of the look with which Plato looked at him, sitting under a tree, of a shot heard in that place, of a dog howling, of the criminal faces of two Frenchmen who ran past him, of smoking gun, about the absence of Karataev at this halt, and he was ready to understand that Karataev had been killed, but at the same moment in his soul, coming from God knows where, there arose a memory of the evening he spent with the beautiful Polish woman, in the summer, on balcony of his Kiev house. And yet, without connecting the memories of the current day and not drawing a conclusion about them, Pierre closed his eyes, and the picture of summer nature mingled with the memory of bathing, of a liquid oscillating ball, and he sank somewhere into the water, so that the water converged over his head.
Before sunrise, he was awakened by loud, frequent shots and screams. The French ran past Pierre.
- Les cosaques! [Cossacks!] - shouted one of them, and a minute later a crowd of Russian faces surrounded Pierre.
For a long time Pierre could not understand what happened to him. From all sides he heard the cries of joy of his comrades.
- Brothers! My darlings, doves! - crying, shouted the old soldiers, hugging the Cossacks and hussars. Hussars and Cossacks surrounded the prisoners and hurriedly offered some dresses, some boots, some bread. Pierre sobbed, sitting in the middle of them, and could not utter a word; he embraced the first soldier who approached him and, weeping, kissed him.
Dolokhov stood at the gates of a ruined house, letting a crowd of disarmed French pass him by. The French, excited by everything that had happened, spoke loudly among themselves; but when they passed Dolokhov, who lightly lashed his boots with a whip and looked at them with his cold, glassy look, promising nothing good, their speech fell silent. On the other side stood the Cossack Dolokhova and counted the prisoners, marking hundreds with a line of chalk on the gate.
- How many? Dolokhov asked the Cossack, who was counting the prisoners.
“On the second hundred,” answered the Cossack.
- Filez, filez, [Come in, come in.] - Dolokhov said, having learned this expression from the French, and, meeting the eyes of the passing prisoners, his eyes flashed with a cruel brilliance.
Denisov, with a gloomy face, took off his hat, walked behind the Cossacks, who were carrying the body of Petya Rostov to a hole dug in the garden.

Since October 28, when the frosts began, the flight of the French only acquired the more tragic character of people freezing and roasting to death at the fires and continuing to ride in fur coats and carriages with the stolen goods of the emperor, kings and dukes; but in essence the process of flight and disintegration of the French army has not changed at all since the departure from Moscow.
From Moscow to Vyazma, out of the seventy-three thousand French army, not counting the guards (who did nothing during the whole war except robbery), out of seventy-three thousand, thirty-six thousand remained (of this number, no more than five thousand were eliminated in battles). Here is the first member of the progression, which mathematically correctly determines the subsequent ones.
The French army was melting and destroyed in the same proportion from Moscow to Vyazma, from Vyazma to Smolensk, from Smolensk to Berezina, from Berezina to Vilna, regardless of a greater or lesser degree of cold, persecution, blocking the path and all other conditions taken separately. After Vyazma, the French troops, instead of three columns, huddled together and so went to the end. Berthier wrote to his sovereign (it is known how remotely from the truth the chiefs allow themselves to describe the state of the army). He wrote:

In the match against Poland, Swiss attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri scored perhaps the best goal not only of Euro 2016, but of the whole year.

STUDENT OF HOSPITABLE SWITZERLAND

Shaqiri was born in Albania. And he probably would have started his football career in the same place, if the war in Yugoslavia had not flared up. The Serbian group launched a purge against the Kosovo Albanians, which resulted in the death of more than 10,000 people. Then Shaqiri's parents decided to move to Switzerland, where he began to go to football schools. The player always notes that he was received very well in this country.

When the conversation turns to his belonging to Switzerland and Albania, Shaqiri hurries to put the accents precisely: “I was born in Kosovo, my parents were also born here, but I grew up in Switzerland. What language do I speak? At home - in Albanian.

TO THE FOOTBALL FIELD FROM THE PASTRY FACTORY

In his youth, Shaqiri worked in a confectionery company! It was when the football player played for youth team Basel. Main reason: fear, what if football will not work? "I dreamed of playing football always, but my dad and mom wanted me to learn something else, ”Jerdan recalled when he already became a professional player.

As a football player, Shaqiri earns as much in a year as confectioners can never earn in a lifetime. Therefore, on the field, he strives to give his all: “After working in a confectionery company for two years, I understood the difference between playing in football and simple labor. That experience helped me to know real life».

ALPINE MESSI

In terms of football talent, Shaqiri is compared with Lionel Messi. Both deftly handle the ball, easily beat opponents and coolly hit from the left foot (that's how Shaqiri hit the goal of Poland). If you believe the reference books, then their height is absolutely the same: 169 centimeters.

Both Shaqiri and Messi are the leaders of the national team. And here Xherdan has an achievement that Messi can envy: at the 2014 World Cup in the match with Honduras, the Swiss scored a hat-trick, which the Argentine has not yet been able to do. It is Messi Shaqiri considers the best player in the world. Next to him, the Swiss puts Cristiano Ronaldo. According to the player, to compete with these guys is the dream of any football player.

PRACTICE IS THE ENGINE OF PROGRESS

A year ago, Shaqiri played at Inter. Given that Switzerland and Italy are close, best place it was difficult to come up with a career to continue. When it came to the advantages of playing for the Milan team, which has not been shining in Europe for a long time, the player noted exactly this, saying that he lives extremely comfortably, because you can often see your loved ones. It would go on like this, but Main coach Roberto Mancini did not see Inter with Shaqiri.

And then he went to distant England, to Stoke City. “A young football player has to play. There is no better way to show your talent. I want to get back to my level." And he played well: three goals and six assists in 27 Premier League matches. The result could have been better, but Xherdan missed many matches due to injuries: he was out of action several times due to damage to the hamstring and strained thigh muscles.

BEST FRIEND IS A BROTHER

Shaqiri has always noted that family is very important to him. Therefore, it is not surprising that he calls his brother Erdin his best friend. “This is a person I always trust. He knows everything about me, I know everything about him. He is not only my brother, but also my friend. In addition to Erdin, Xherdan has another brother - Arianit and sister Medina.

If in family life Shaqiri is distinguished by love for loved ones, then on the football field - by confidence. “He is always calm when he is handling the ball. It doesn't matter who plays against him. He is able to quickly adapt to any situation,” said Ottmar Hitzfeld, when he was the coach of the Swiss national team. Everyone would have such calmness, which allows them to score with a blow through themselves!
