Biggest bicep. Mustafa Ismail - the man with the biggest biceps in the world! Mustafa Ismail was overweight

Exhausting visits to gyms and jogging in the morning "too tough" is not for everyone, but not for the heroes of our material about the largest biceps. These guys were ready to do anything to prove that they have the largest bicep volume on the planet.

Greg Valentino

This unique athlete had a turbulent career, but one way or another, he nevertheless achieved his goal and for many years held the title of "The Man with the Biggest Biceps in the World." Over the course of 10 years of grueling training, Greg managed to pump up his biceps, the girth of which reached 53 centimeters. The athlete literally swore that he achieved this result without the use of steroids and other illegal drugs based on chemistry. What can be said here? Well done Greg! Keep it up!

But, apparently, the athlete was not enough, and he still decided to resort to the use of steroids, citing the fact that he wanted to achieve much greater result. The result was stunning, the girth of the athlete's arms increased to 71 centimeters! With this result, Greg Valentino got into the Guinness Book of Records.

But everything is not as rosy in Greg's life as it seems at first glance. After the start of steroids, the athlete began to have health problems. Even despite the fact that muscle mass grew in his arms before our eyes, Greg's vitality slowly but surely melted every day. As time passed, Greg even began to fester muscles. But he did not even hide this terrible fact and posted photos with disgusting wounds on the Internet.

According to Greg himself, he allegedly posted these photos for young guys to understand what excessive use of steroids can lead to. But even health problems were not the worst page in the life of an athlete. The thing is that Greg had to go to war after serving in the army. After the war, the record holder began distributing illegal drugs, for which he served time in prison. Now Greg Valentino changed his mind and took up his head, soon the athlete is going to write and publish a book about his life.

Mustafa Ismail

The biggest biceps in the world managed to pump up a colorful Egyptian athlete - Mustafa Ismail. Now the 24-year-old bodybuilder lives and works in America. Mustafa is famous not only for his biceps (79 centimeters in girth), but also is the owner of the largest forearms.

Jokingly, Mustafa's friends call him the sailor Popeye because of his disproportionate arms. But Mustafa is a cheerful guy and is not at all offended by joking remarks in his direction. A young athlete from childhood raved about sports and dreamed of achieving what others could not. Already at the age of 14, Mustafa began to play sports professionally. The young man made the main emphasis on pumping biceps. After moving to America, the young guy became available best conditions to fulfill your dreams. As time passed, Mustafa pumped up his biceps to a record high. To date, the athlete confidently lifts 226 kg for biceps.

The young bodybuilder said that in order to achieve results, he needed to get up almost every day at 4 in the morning, get to the gym and swing for 3 hours. Then the athlete still had to go to work, where he worked almost until lunch. Then the athlete took a break, ate well and went to a second job, where he worked until the evening. But even now, Mustafa claims that he was able to achieve such outstanding results not only thanks to discipline and exhausting training.

The main factor was proper and regular nutrition. On the day the young man had to eat 3 kg of protein food, 4 kg of carbohydrates, and also had to drink at least 1.5 liters of water. To this day, the bodybuilder consumes 1.5 kilograms of meat a day, eats 4 cups of almonds and drinks up to three liters. protein shake.

Also, the athlete is in excellent health and assures the whole world that he has never taken illegal drugs during his short, but already very successful career. Many tend to doubt the veracity of the bodybuilder's words and assure that biceps of such unrealistic sizes could only be pumped up with the help of synthol or thanks to silicone implants.

But, in spite of everything, Mustafa Ismail continues to do his favorite thing and easily fends off any negative statements of the press and ill-wishers in his direction. On this moment Mustafa, although he is the owner of the largest biceps in the world, has not yet entered the Guinness Book of Records. What to add here? Still just ahead.

When you first see photos of this guy, you get the impression that this is just someone's work in Photoshop. But in fact, the photos are real and the name of this bodybuilder is Mustafa Ismail, he has earned himself a place in the latest edition of the Guinness Book of Records, which went on sale today in London. Mustafa Ismail - the man with the biggest biceps in the world!

Mustafa is 24 years old, from the age of 14 he began to intensively pump up his biceps and has since achieved stunning results. The volume of his biceps at the moment is 31 inches (78 cm) in circumference! The guy works hard twice a day, lifting 500 kg of weight, and absorbs incredible amounts of protein-containing foods. His daily diet is several boiled chickens, about 500 g of steak or fish and 3 liters of protein shakes.

Mustafa Ismail himself, nicknamed "Big Mo", claims that excellent genetic data also played a big role in building such huge biceps, the guy's father was an Egyptian wrestler.

5 years ago, the bodybuilder and his 30-year-old wife Carolina moved from Egypt to America, and now he combines his daily training with work at a gas station near his home in Massachusetts. Friends often compare him with the famous cartoon character "Popeye" (this is such a sailor with huge hands), but he laughs and claims that, unlike "Popeye", he hates spinach and believes that his hands are already much larger than those of the cartoon character !

No, this is not photoshop, as you might think (and I thought so at first). 24-year-old Egyptian Mustafa Ismail entered the 2013 Guinness Book of Records as the owner of the largest biceps in the world, according to the Huffington Post. The diameter of his arm is 78.74 centimeters - almost as much as the waist circumference of an adult. Mustafa says that at first he went to the gym just to keep fit. However, after many began to admire his already well-developed biceps, he decided to focus all his efforts in this direction.

Five years ago, when a young man was not accepted into the Egyptian bodybuilding team, Mustafa moved to the United States with his family. In his new homeland, he continued to "pump iron", especially since America has the most modern equipment for this. Together with his wife Carolina, the Egyptian settled in Massachusetts. Now he has his own house here and two gas stations, where he works in his spare time from training.

    How did he do it?

According to the champion, such results are also affected by a special daily diet: 7 pounds of protein food (about 3 kg), 9 pounds of carbohydrates (about 4 kg) and three gallons of water (11 liters).

“I love bodybuilding because your success in this sport is always very noticeable,” says the athlete.

In 2007 he moved to Massachusetts, USA, where he lives with his wife Caroline. He works two jobs to pay for his gym membership, among other things.

“I like training to the point of exhaustion, they teach concentration,” says the athlete. Meanwhile, many skeptics are sure that implants, steroids or special preparations like synthol were involved: the imbalance between Ismail's arms and other muscles is striking

Mustafa Ismail assures that he does not use any special means, but began to pump muscles after he became the object of ridicule at the wedding of his own uncle in Egypt. Mustafa used to suffer from overweight. But I think few people who understand this sport will believe him.

Synthol appeared in the early 90s of the last century, and its invention is associated with the name of the German chemist Chris Clark, who decided to increase the duration of the drug esiclene. The latter was wildly popular among bodybuilders in the 80s, having a rather low anabolic effect, esiclene, when injected intramuscularly, caused irritation and inflammation. As a result, the muscles became larger and more prominent. True, the result was short-term, and after a day or two came to naught. But for the competition was the most it. Until Mr. Clark decided to increase the duration of the drug, so much so that now it is excreted from the body for several years (there have been cases when the total withdrawal period exceeded 10 years!).

He led the work in the direction of increasing the time of the effect. He succeeded in this - in the early 90s, a composition called synthol was obtained, though. such a name was already protected by a patent, then Clark's composition was officially called "Pump'N'Pose".

Synthol began to be actively used by bodybuilders, building up a few missing inches in various muscles. The first was Klaus Doring.

For Clark, synthol has become a real "goose that lays golden eggs." Although it is forbidden to use synthol directly, it is openly sold as a performance oil for $400 a bottle. And there are many people actively using it.

Strictly speaking, synthol was never sold under this name. The name was assigned to another drug (which one is unknown to the general public), and our hero was registered under the name Pump-N-Rose (Swing-and-pose). Moreover, in view of the prohibition of synthol and its equating to steroids, the drug is sold exclusively as a posing oil. With this positioning, no responsibility for side effects the manufacturer does not bear. Yes, and there can’t be any - after all, if you simply smear yourself with a dense oily liquid, it is impossible to harm your health. Another thing is if you use it not as it is written on the package, but as it is customary.

Synthol is administered intramuscularly, to a depth of approximately 6-7 mm. The procedure is not very painful due to the addition of painkillers to it. However, the number of injections approaches 250 within 3-4 months per muscle. Studies show that approximately 30-35% of the synthol introduced in this way is broken down by the body almost immediately, the rest accumulate over the years. One course of such "treatment" is accompanied by the introduction of about 270-300 ml of the substance into the muscle. If earlier synthol was used only for pumping biceps and triceps, then over time they began to inject it into the calves and chest. In fact, the effect of synthol on different groups muscles differently, the greatest effect is achieved in biceps, triceps, deltas, slightly worse result in the muscles of the chest, calves, round muscles of the back.

Professional doctors will never undertake synthol injections, and self-injections are dangerous to the health of the person who is given them. First, there is the risk of nerve damage, which can lead to paralysis or paresis (numbness). Secondly, if you get into a blood vessel, then snitol will enter the bloodstream. And this is the risk of blockage of blood vessels, up to death. Usually less dangerous: increasing blood pressure, dizziness, suffocation. Thirdly, even synthol that has been used for its intended purpose leads to suppuration muscle tissue, which can provoke ischemia, atrophy and sclerosis skeletal muscle. And just the realization that your biceps is a waterskin with pus is somehow not very encouraging. Fourth, the same injections into different muscles(for example, left and right biceps) lead to a completely different effect, very often one muscle becomes much larger and thicker than the other. Fifth, muscle fiber from all sides it is enveloped by a substance, from which the flow of oxygen to it becomes difficult, which leads to partial death of the muscles and loss of natural weight.

For this reason, in professional sports synthol, if used, is extremely careful. But narrow-minded lovers often neglect not only the sense of self-preservation, but also external aesthetics, driving increased doses of synthol into their muscles. The result is skewed, disproportionate figures. Why is synthol so popular? It's very simple - its presence in the blood is almost impossible to establish, because it's just ordinary fat (85% consists of C8 fatty acids, plus C10 and C12, benzyl alcohol and lidocaine). The most famous syntholist is Gregg Valentinno, a little less well-known synthol veteran is Klaus Doring, whose hands today look like waterskins filled with liquid.

There is one more thing. After using synthol, those who used it talk about a change in sensations during training, they believe that the “pump” comes much faster, and the training itself becomes much harder. This is where the victims of synthol show their complete illiteracy. After all, pumping (or pumping) is a sensation that arises subjectively due to blood flow to the muscles during exercise. The vessels dilate, the blood supply increases and there is a feeling of fullness. And the severity of the training is determined by the fact that even increased blood flow cannot adequately supply the muscle with oxygen (i.e., functional ischemia manifests itself), hence the production of lactic acid, which leads to pain and burning in the muscle. And synthol has already clogged the space between the fibers, and compresses the vessels and nerves, which causes the same sensations of burning and pain, while the muscles do not work.

The developer himself stated that his tool is completely safe, but ... On the one hand, the use of synthol sports organizations equated to steroid use. But developers and distributors position the substance only as an external oil and shift all responsibility for use to the end user.

But here there is a small subtle point. As mentioned above, synthol is administered injectively. And this means that you need to know very well the features of the anatomy of muscle groups. After all, nerve damage, of which there are many, can lead to paralysis or paresis of the area.

Even worse consequences of vascular damage. The trapped fat clot causes embolism of the vessels of the lungs, heart, brain and often causes death. In addition, post-injection infections, abscesses and phlegmon in the victim of synthol are frequent, requiring the intervention of surgeons.

The components themselves also stimulate inflammation in the muscles, and the huge masses of fatty acids embedded between muscle bundles for a long time cause sclerosis, atrophy and ischemia of muscle tissue.

The International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) regulates the use aids and drugs for athletes.

Yes, its rules, in principle, prohibit the use of steroids and synthol injections. But such lists of prohibited drugs are more likely to be guidelines for action than real prohibitions. In practice, competitions turn into a battle of monsters - and how exactly such unnatural muscle mass is obtained is no longer important. It is almost impossible for a natural to achieve high results in competitions, this is a war of steroids (a fifty-centimeter arm) with synthol (a shoulder of 27 cm).

And these are synthol consumers in full growth.

The most famous is Gregg Valentino. He is also the owner of the largest hands in bodybuilding.

This is what his hands look like now...

One of the first consumers of synthol is Klaus Doring. Now it looks more like a mutant pig, to put it very mildly.

    Crazy old man Klaus Kaak.
