School Olympiad in Information Technology. Olympiad for schoolchildren "Information technologies

The purpose of the Olympiad is to promote scientific knowledge and develop students' and schoolchildren's interest in modern information technologies through solving practical problems in this area.

The main objectives of the Correspondence Olympiad were declared:

identification and development of students' creative abilities;
stimulation of interest in modern information technologies;
creating the necessary conditions to support gifted students

The correspondence Olympiad was preceded by an active information campaign on the Internet, as well as the work of the Organizing Committee to collect applications, check the submitted materials for the degree of compliance with the requirements specified in the Regulations, the degree of independence in completing tasks.

In total, 40 applications were received for the competition. The results of processing applications showed the following results:

Participants: college students - 27 teams (67.5%), university students - 13 teams (32.5%);

Geography of participation: Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg

According to the results of the work of the expert commission, the following works were recognized as the best:

University students:

ATTENTION! Applicants and their parents are allowed to participate in NRNU MEPhI events only upon presentation of a passport.

For children under 14, an original birth certificate is required.

Selection round of the Olympiad is held in two forms: full-time (in Moscow and regional venues for the Olympiad with the possible departure of representatives of the central organizing committee) and part-time using the Internet.

Final round of the Olympiad is held in person in Moscow and at the regional venues of the Olympiad with the obligatory departure of representatives of the central organizing committee. Local co-organizers (regional universities, regional education departments, school administrations) provide premises, technical staff, and provide advertising for the Olympiad in the region. The Olympiad entries are checked in Moscow by members of the central jury.

Preparation for the Olympics

From September 04 to November 20, 2017, free mass online courses will be held to prepare for the Olympics

Registration information for courses will appear in this section.

These courses are held on the cathedral portals of the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Science Education of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI pupils.mifi.ru , teachers.mifi.ru, as well as individual video lectures are posted on the portal of the NRNU MEPhI Network School ()

Due to the fact that the Olympiad is held in a dynamically changing field of knowledge, the materials are constantly updated and quickly become outdated. Video materials of past years are losing their relevance to some extent.

Appeals

Member Appeals final rounds Olympics 2017-2018 school year accepted within two days after the publication of the results. The appeal must include

  • surname, name patronymic of the participant,
  • registration number of the participant in the information system org.site,
  • Class,
  • platform for writing

When presenting incomplete information the appeal is considered not filed and is not considered.

When considering appeals, the appeal commission checks the correctness of the assessment of the participant's work. As a result of the recheck, the participant's score can be increased, left unchanged or lowered in case of errors that were not noticed during the initial check.

After the appeal is considered by the Appeal Commission and the response to the appeal is approved by the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad, the participant receives a response by e-mail to the address from which the appeal was filed (within 7 working days). A scan of the participant's Olympiad work is attached to the answer.

The decision of the Organizing Committee on the results of consideration of appeals is final.
