I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone, whether you are a football fan or not! Personally, I don't think buying the Stadium Tour Plus is worth paying extra for, as the video wearing virtual reality glasses lasted only 5 minutes and simply showed several historical football matches. You wouldn't lose anything by watching this on a regular screen. However, the audio guide was quite informative and thanks to it I learned a lot of information that I would not have found on the Internet.
In conclusion, I would recommend purchasing the Stadium Tour as you will get an equally interesting experience for less money. Next to all the museum exhibits you will find description and don't miss any important information.

There are several ways get to the stadium:
Camp Nou metro
If you're heading towards Gol-Norda, you need to take the metro to Maria Cristina, Les Corts or Palau Rial (green line, L3) and go down the hill. If you are going to Gol Sud, stop at Collblanc or Badal (blue line, L5) as they are closer. These metro stations surround the stadium, so don't worry if you miss your stop, you can just get off at the next one!

Camp Nou Bus

Camp Nou Parking

The hall can accommodate 120 journalists. This is where press conferences take place before and after matches. After each match, two players meet with the press. Players are selected based on what happened to them on or off the field.
- The mix zone is where teams give post-match comments to the press.
This is where interviews are given that you may have seen a thousand times on TV. “Well, Alan, I think we had a great match...” You'll see the familiar blue background and sponsor logos. It's so cool to see all this live.

But in the owners' locker room, which is described by the audio guide, but which cannot be visited, there is a spa, a meeting room, a pharmacy, a treatment room, and it is also larger in size. In it, players do not feel disadvantaged and can relax before the next half.
Football Club Chapel
It was equipped in the second year after the stadium opened in 1958. And she was consecrated by her holy husband John Paul II, the Pope, in 1982. In the chapel, players pray before the match, asking for help and guidance.

The renovation of Camp nou is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2019 and will last until the end of the 2021/22 season. During the renovation, the number of spectator seats is expected to expand to 105 thousand, and its main focus will be the installation of a new roof over the stadium.
How to get to the stadium?
It is located close to the center, with about 4 metro stations nearby: Palau Reial, Callblanc, Maria Cristina and Badal.
The metro operates from five in the morning until 12 at night. If the match ends late, then all you have to do is take a taxi.
Barça's new stadium replaced their old ground of Les Corts which with a capacity of just 48,000 was too small to accommodate the interest generated by a team led by Hungarian star Ladislao Kubala.
The stadium was designed by architects Francesc Mitjans Miró and Josep Soteras Mauri, with the collaboration of Lorenzo García Barbón, and it was constructed between 1955 and 1957, using mainly concrete and iron. The whole project cost a staggering 288 million pesetas, which meant the club would spend the following years heavily in debt.
Although it was originally going to go under the official name of 'Estadi del FC Barcelona', it soon came to be popularly known as the "Camp Nou" (the 'new ground'), as opposed to the club's old home at Les Corts . It was not until the 2000/2001 season that, following a postal vote made by the Club membership, that the decision was made to make ‘Camp Nou’ the official name of the stadium. The stadium’s maximum height is 48 meters, and it covers a surface area of 55,000 square meters (250 meters long and 220 meters wide). In accordance with UEFA stipulations, the playing area has been downsized to 105 meters x 68 meters.
With a capacity of 99,354, it is now the biggest stadium in Europe. However, the total capacity has varied over the years owing to different modifications. When it was first opened in 1957, it held 93,053 spectators, which would be increased to 120,000 in 1982 on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup. However, the introduction of new regulations outlawing standing areas reduced the stadium’s capacity in the late 1990s to just under 99,000.
In the 1998-99 season, UEFA recognized the services and facilities at Camp Nou by awarding it five star status. In 2010, in line with the new UEFA regulations, this category was replaced by the new "Category 4" title which corresponds to the stadiums which fulfill the most demanding requirements with regards to facilities, services and capacity such as FC Barcelona's ground.

History of the stadium in Barcelona
The Camp Nou was built between 1955 and 1957 and was designed by the architects Francesc Mitjans Miró and Josep Soteras Mauri. The construction required an impressive amount - almost 2 million euros. The facility was originally called FC Barcelona Stadium, and its current name was established in 2001. The stands could accommodate up to 100 thousand spectators.
The first reconstruction of the Camp Nou stadium was in 1981, it was expanded to 120,000 spectators in connection with the FIFA World Cup. But already in 1998, UEFA introduced new rules - to remove standing places, providing such fan zones with seats. In order for the Camp Nou to remain as spacious as before, the level of the lawn had to be lowered.
Nowadays the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona is considered the largest in Europe, the dimensions of the field are 105 by 68 meters. Camp Nou capacity is 99,354 people.
Tour of the Camp Nou stadium and the football club museum
The FC Barcelona Museum is the most visited in Catalonia. Numerous team awards are posted here, historical photos, videos and other materials.
The excursion called “Barcelona FC Camp Nou Experience” is self-guided. Despite this, the whole tour is very eventful. The length of your stay depends only on you; on average, it may take 2 hours to inspect all objects.
Tour participants are given free access to visit the museum and stadium. Yellow barriers help you not to leave the excursion route, and information signs allow you to explore the objects. To access more extensive information, it is better to additionally pick up an audio guide from the main counter.
At the very beginning of the tour you will be shown an introductory 3D video “Virtual Stadium”. Best view You will enter the stadium from the presidential box. You can also look at the commentator booths.
At the Camp Nou stadium you will see the visiting team's dressing room, the football club's chapel, where the team can pray before the start of the match. You will feel the special behind-the-scenes atmosphere as you exit through the tunnel through which the players walk onto the field. Next you will see the benches, the press box, the FC Barcelona press center, where players are interviewed and press conferences are held.
