Tennis club "Petersburg" named after. V.I. Nikiforova has existed since 2000. Named after the founder of the club, Valery Ivanovich Nikiforov. The club is located in a park area on Krestovsky Island.

7 outdoor clay courts, 4 artificial grass courts and 3 hard courts.

The club has a children's and youth tennis school. The club unites all tennis lovers. From the youngest and young athletes to professionals the highest level. Tennis tournaments throughout the year a great way to have fun, improve your professional skills and meet friends.

The club pursues an active social and professional policy. For example, the annual Governor's Tournament is held in May. tennis. WTA and ITF series tournaments are also regularly held.

If you live in St. Petersburg and you want to play tennis, it’s hard to imagine best place than the St. Petersburg Tennis Club.

The location is very convenient - a five-minute walk from the Krestovsky Island metro station. If you are by car, then there are no problems with parking either: in the courtyard of the club there is parking for season ticket holders, but if you are coming for the first time, just talk to the security, they will let you in without any problems. It’s a pity that we learned this life hack from the administrator when we had already parked.

It is better to reserve the court in advance. We called on Tuesday and on Saturday free time There were only 15 and 20 hours left. Yes, interesting feature: You cannot assign a specific site to yourself. The administrator himself will explain to you which court you need to go to. However, no one forbids leaving wishes.

What does the tennis club offer:

  • courts with a variety of surfaces

seven summer clay courts, four winter artificial grass courts and three winter hard courts

  • balls and rackets for rent
  • sauna, solarium, massage therapist
  • sale of sporting goods

So, you came to the club.

There is a cafe waiting for you inside, through which you can get to the reception desk. The administrator issues a bracelet with a magnetic key. The bracelet is silicone, a bit large for my wrist, but it turned out to be quite convenient to move it closer to the elbow. The comfortable locker room is equipped with newfangled lockers with magnetic locks (terribly convenient!), a hairdryer, and scales. If you forgot a towel, no problem, you can ask for it too. Again, it’s a pity that we completely forgot to take a towel with us and didn’t ask the administrator for it. From the locker room there are exits to the solarium, shower and sauna. The sauna, by the way, is shared - be prepared for men dressed as Adam. The toilet is clean. In general, it is very clean everywhere, and there is a complete feeling that the cleaning lady manages to be everywhere at once: either wiping the floors in the cafe, or checking the order in the locker room.

The courts are great. Winter courts with excellent lighting. There are a lot of kids - some are working with a coach, and others are ready to take their first championship cup. We got a hard court. I rented a racket, the administrator helped me choose. Balls in large quantities are located in the box on each court. At least on indoor courts.

The visit left such a pleasant impression that I didn’t even have time to take photos. I’ll update the review with colorful pictures after the next trip.

Our visit was with a gift certificate, but we liked it so much that we decided to repeat it and were interested in the price. Prices depend on the season and time of day. The most expensive time - weekday evenings - will cost 4,200 rubles. The cheapest thing is to play tennis for an hour, again on weekdays from ten to midnight - 1,600 rubles. On weekends you can play for 2200. A complete list of prices can be found
