Every more or less successful gamer who plays DotA 2 dreams of becoming famous. To be honest, there are a lot of such players, but only a few become famous far beyond the circle of friends, and why be modest - they become recognizable all over the world. Among the most famous eSports associations is the Ukrainian DotA 2 NaVi clan, whose composition has changed somewhat over the course of five years. Over the years of the club's existence, the five guys have accumulated almost 50 awards. They are the idols DotA players 2 worldwide.

History of the Natus Vincere team

The Natus Vincere esports clan was formed from the best DotA players in Ukraine late autumn 2010. It was then that the starting DotA 2 NaVi team, whose composition included famous gamers: Andrey Chipenko, Alexander Stepanyuk and Alexander Dashkevich. A little later they were joined by the now famous and who, by the way, became the captain of the team.

Just a year after its creation, the NaVi DotA 2 team, whose composition at that time was already stable, for the first time became the winner of the prestigious tournament held in Cologne. From that moment on, the guys began their victorious march through DotA 2 tournaments on various scales. Over five years of existence DotA teams 2 NaVi composition changed with enviable frequency. However, this did not greatly affect the results of the game.

Natus Vincere victories and awards

What awards did DotA 2 NaVi participants receive, where and when did this happen? Let's look at the list of them major victories and the most significant winnings. So, for the first time, five guys still unknown to anyone won the The International 2011 tournament, held in Cologne in August 2011. Then they managed to hit a jackpot worth 1 million US dollars! In October of the same year, the guys became winners at the ESWC 2011 Paris tournament. This time the main prize was the same 12 thousand dollars. Over the next year, representatives of the DotA 2 NaVi team, whose composition, fortunately, did not change during that period, occupied the first lines of the rating tables of various tournaments and won a total of about 40,000 US dollars.

2012 was also a very successful year for the team members. They again became winners at The International tournament, this time held in Seattle, and received $250,000 as a prize. In addition, five guys became winners of eSports events such as MLG Prizefights Showmatch. Luck was on the side of the guys in such famous and popular tournaments as the Electronic Sports World Cup 2012. It did not leave them at the SLTV StarSeries Season Four competitions either.

In 2013-2014, members of the DotA 2 NaVi esports clan were no less successful in many battles in various competitions, however, they were unable to reach the highest step of the podium at The International 2013 tournament.

NaVi Dota2 roster update

The guys still have many tournament meetings ahead, so they approached the selection of team members with great seriousness. Fans place their faith in their idols big hopes, the guys, in turn, intend to once again be in first place in all tournament tables the coming season. Recently, the management of the e-sports club announced that the current roster of NaVi DotA 2, in addition to the already familiar to all fans Alexander Dashkevich (TAIL), Daniil Ishutin (Dendi) and Ivan Skorokhod (VANSKOR/Inactive), who came last year, included Artyom Barshak (Fng) and Gleb Lipatnikov (Funn1k).

Thus, the Ukrainian team of dota players became international, since two of its members came from Russia and Belarus. According to the assurances of the team members themselves, the guys who joined their roster should not be considered newcomers, since they have repeatedly met with them at tournaments of various levels, and even often participated in game battles. Joint training new line-up NaVi DotA 2 is already in the first ten days of April. The place of honor as captain was entrusted to Artyom Barshak, who had arrived in the clan.

Women's team NaVi

Despite the established opinion in society about the inability of girls to take a professional approach to computer games, the DotA 2 NaVi clan, which was joined by five charming young girls, proves the opposite. Who are they, the wonderful representatives of NaVi? These are Maria Gunina (Inverno), (Sofi), Maria Malakhovskaya (MooNka) and Ksenia Bazanova (Leayh). Anastasia Dmitrienko, known as PerfectVoid, became the captain of the women's team. Previously, the team members represented other esports organizations: ownedby.pro and Darer.fm. The management of the game club hopes that the experience of girls in various tournaments will help them become worthy representatives their teams.

Fans and the leadership of the clan really believe that the current team can conquer the heights of various tournaments dedicated to the world-famous game DotA 2 more than once again. It will be possible to find out whether these hopes come true very soon, because with the beginning of the summer months the guys will participate in the battles of the strongest. Already in July, the next tournament will take place in Kyiv, after which even more exciting e-sports competitions await them. Let's wish good luck to the brave doters! Despite the fact that the team has already reached the playoffs in the European zone, it will not hinder them. Let only worthy opponents meet on their way, and let luck follow on their heels!

The “born to win” Dota 2 squad has officially included a new carry and support, and the roster is now fully staffed. The official website of the team reports this.

It is reported that after lengthy testing of various candidates for vacant positions, it was decided to invite Vladislav to the team for a trial period." Crystallize" Kristanek and Vladimir " Rodger" Nikoghosyan. These players performed better than others in training and were able to quickly join the team.

Crystallize declared himself on the professional stage as part of the team Double Dimension, with which he successfully completed the open qualification for The Kiev Major. In the updated “Born to Win” lineup, Vladislav will play in the carry position.

The fourth position will be taken by Vladimir " Rodger" Nikoghosyan, who has vast experience of performing at various tournaments. Your professional career Vladimir started in 2014. On the past The International 2017RodjER as part of the team Team Empire won 7-8 place.

Alexander "XBOCT" Dashkevich - coach of Na"Vi:

Crystallize And RodjER- very nice and purposeful guys, I’m glad to welcome them to the team Natus Vincere. I hope that our cooperation will be long and productive!

Evgeniy Zolotarev - CEO of Na"Vi:

Vova is already quite familiar to fans of the Dota 2 scene, primarily for his performances for Team Empire, from where the transfer was made. Vlad has virtually no experience performing on the professional stage, however, he showed himself very well during practical games, demonstrating a mature game beyond his years, which influenced our decision to invite him to NaVi. I am sure that the guys will justify the trust and bring us the long-awaited titles.

I also want to reassure the fans who were worried about whether we would have time to take part in the qualifications of the first Minor tournaments. Tomorrow the guys will gather for a long bootcamp, from where all the selections will take place. Detailed information Look for information about upcoming tournaments in the coming days. In conclusion, I would like to sincerely thank our loyal fans for their patience and kindly ask you to support the new squad and coach, because this is what helps us not give up, become stronger and work with redoubled zeal. This is your fully feasible contribution to the future success of the team, and we undertake to do everything that depends on the management and the guys.

As for Team Empire, the player’s departure was commented on by sports director Alexander “ StrangeR" Solomonov:

Some time after returning from The International, Roger told management that he would like to continue his career in Na"Vi. Vladimir will explain the detailed reasons why he made this decision himself, if he wants. I will just say that it was his personal desire.

Despite a long contract with the Empire and limited choice good players support position in our region, we were sympathetic to Roger’s wishes and decided not to interfere with his transition. We agreed on the terms of the transfer with Na"Vi fast enough.

The player who will replace Roger in the Empire will be announced before September 9th, the list of candidates has been determined and very soon we will make a choice. The new competitive season promises to be very interesting.

Natus Vincere team composition for the 2017/18 season:

General Manager of Natus Vincere Evgeniy Zolotorev spoke about the situation of the DotA 2 roster.

Two months ago, all team members were sent into inactivity due to unsatisfactory results at the end of the season and failure to qualify for The International 2018. During this time, the guys performed in various mixes, worked as analysts, commentators, or simply rested. Dendi, for example, went to Vancouver for TI8, where he was.

Now, the situation with the Na’Vi DotA 2 team has finally become known:

Of the team's current players, only Akbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev, who became the captain, and Vladislav "Crystallize" Kristanek remained in the main roster. The team’s ex-coach, Alexander “TAIL” Dashkevich, has expired his contract with the organization, which it was decided not to renew. According to Evgeniy, TAIL has interests in other projects, which is why it will not be able to pay 100% attention to the team.

The newcomers were Idan "MagicaL" Vardanyan, a young gamer who had not previously performed on the pro stage, as well as Evgeniy "Blizzy" Rea, who transferred from Vega Squadron.

For the first time since 2010, the legendary Na’Vi player Danil “Dendi” Ishutin will not play for the team. He still has a valid contract with the organization, like the other players. They will either become free agents, or Natus Vincere will help them find a new team.

Thank you for 8 years of support and trust. I enjoyed every minute and wish the future teams the best of luck!

It's hard to imagine Na'Vi without Dendi

Good luck in future career, DendiBoss! P.S. You have contacts for our manager, don’t you?

Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk also said goodbye to the team

On behalf of the entire esports club and Na`Vi fans, I would like to thank Clement for the time spent in our club. We wish you success in new teams or in the activity that Clement chooses for himself. We will never forget his contribution to the success story of our club.

Comment: Navi Dota 2 Captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov:

Today I announce my departure from Na`Vi. It was a great journey of success and, looking back, I have no regrets. Even though things must change and stories must end, my career in competitive Dota will not end. I am grateful to Na`Vi for the time we spent together and wish them all the best. I would also like to thank my fans and Na`Vi fans who supported us along our journey.

The composition of the Navi team at the moment:

  • Gleb "Funn1k" Lipatnikov
  • Daniil "Dendi" Ishutin
  • Alexander "TAIL" Dashkevich

Many Navi fans blamed Clement for the team's defeats. Controversial and difficult hero picks caused great controversy within the Dota 2 community. Time will tell who was right.

Rumors are already circulating about two new Navi players. Some believe that Vanskor and Fng will join the ranks of Navi.

Regarding the former captain - Puppei brought Kuro (who are also) to the team, they Good friends, and they are expected to play together on the new team.
