Ball in the air (Don't give the ball to the driver)

(Nowadays, players often call the game “Doggies”)

This old game. Previously, it had other names (“Air Ball”, “Flying Ball”). It involved a rag ball, a hat, and an inflated bubble.

Currently, this game has been slightly modernized. She became preparatory game to all sports games with a ball.

The game is played on a small court or in a hall. Children participate in it (starting from the youngest school age) and youth, from 3 to 30 people. Players need a ball (volleyball, basketball or a simple children's ball).

Description. Participants stand in a circle at a distance of arms outstretched to the sides. The driver (by lot) stands in the middle of the circle. One of those standing in a circle has a ball in his hands. The players throw the ball through the air or roll it on the ground so that the driver cannot touch it. Running in the middle of the circle, the driver tries to touch the ball in the air, on the ground or in the hands of one of the players. If the driver manages to touch the ball, he changes places with the player who threw the ball, or with the player who was holding the ball when the driver touched it.

If there are more than 15-20 people playing, you can select 2-3 drivers. When the participants have mastered the game well, a complication can be introduced: the players move in a circle all the time.

Rules.

  1. If the ball flies out of the circle, the players must pick it up as quickly as possible and, returning to their seats, continue the game.
  2. The driver has the right to touch not only the ball in someone’s hands, in the air, on the ground, but also the ball that has flown out of the circle.

Children walk or run around the playground. The teacher is holding a large ball in his hands. He calls the name of one of the children and throws the ball up. The person named must catch the ball and throw it up again, calling the name of one of the children. You need to throw the ball higher in order to catch it, and in the direction of the person named.

Option 2:

Children stand in a circle, one child throws the ball up and calls the name of the one who should catch it; all the other children scatter away from the center. The person who catches the ball shouts - stop! Everyone stops. And the one who caught the ball throws the ball from the spot at the one who is standing closer; if he hits, he becomes the driver; if he doesn’t hit, he throws the ball up.

A flock of birds gathers on one edge of the site; children stand scattered, opposite gymnastic wall. At the teacher’s signal, “let’s fly”, the birds scatter around the site, spreading their wings. At the signal “storm”, the birds fly to the trees and climb onto the wall. When the teacher says the storm has passed, the birds calmly descend from the trees and continue to fly.

Option 2:

birds can fly using different types running. Instead of stairs, you can use benches and cubes.

Don’t give the ball to the driver.”

Directionality - comprehensive improvement of catching and passing the ball and development of speed and coordination abilities.

Rules of the game. Five players (forwards), standing still around the perimeter of a circle with a diameter of 4-5 m, pass among themselves basketball ball, using all types of gears studied. Passing to a nearby player is prohibited. The driver (defender), located inside the circle, strives to intercept the ball. Passing players count out loud the total number of passes completed within 24 seconds. In case of interception, the driver can hold the ball for 5 seconds. After the time allotted for the attackers to possess the ball has expired, the driver is changed.

Determination of the winners. The winner is the driver whose actions were the most effective, that is, who allowed the attackers to complete the least number of passes.

Options: 1) transfers are performed only in a specified way; 2) passes are made with a medicine ball; 3) before the shift, the driver performs unpopular tasks (accelerations, squats, bending and straightening the arms while lying down, jumping in place, etc.) as many times as the number of passes the attackers completed; 4) the game involves 7 - 8 attackers against 2 drivers; 5) two teams compete, sending their leaders (defenders) into the opponents’ camp; Each player takes turns playing the role of driver; the team that makes the most total interceptions or the first to score a given number of passes wins; 6) the pass count is resumed again after each interception of the ball by the driver; 7) the driver is replaced after each interception by changing roles between the interceptor and the attacker who lost the ball; The winners are the players who have played the role of driver never or the least number of times.

Organizational and methodological instructions. Deceptive actions and quick passes lead to victory. In defense, show a given degree of activity also in combination with feints.

Shoot the goalie."

Focus- comprehensive improvement of dribbling the ball, defensive movements and development of speed and coordination abilities.

Rules of the game. On the boundary lines of the basketball court, several “goals” 4-5 m wide are installed, the rods of which are medicine balls. There is a “goalkeeper” at each “gate”. They are selected from among the players. The remaining players - “penalty takers” are evenly distributed to each “gate” and are located at a distance of 7-10 m from them. Each “penalty taker” takes a bullet to each “goalkeeper” in turn, using high-speed dribbling and deceptive movements with transferring the ball from hand to hand, breaks through to one of the “bars” and strives to touch it with his free hand - to score a goal. Each “goalkeeper”, moving while dribbling the ball on the “goal” target (strictly along the line), tries to maintain their integrity, for which

it is necessary to grease the attacker’s back before he touches the “bar”. Finish the ball, i.e. attacking the “gate” again is not allowed.

Determination of the winners. After each player performs shootouts against each goal, the total number of effective actions of the “goalkeepers” and “penalty takers” is calculated. In this way, the best in each role are identified.

Options: 1) the “goalkeeper” dribbles weakest hand or two balls; 2) two teams of 6-7 players compete, “shootouts” are carried out in the opponents’ “gate”, and the winning team is determined by the difference between goals scored and goals conceded; 3) “bars” are installed at the corners of three-second trapezoids (on the free throw lines and on the baselines), the “goalkeeper” is located either inside or outside the trapezoid and operates on the same principle.

Dribblers in a circle."

Focus- comprehensive improvement of dribbling the ball, kicking the ball and the development of speed and coordination abilities.

Rules of the game. In the central circle of the basketball markings or in circles of the same diameter specially drawn on the court, there are 5-6 players with balls. At the teacher’s signal, they dribble the ball without leaving the circle. The goal is to knock the ball away from other dribblers while keeping your own. A dribbler who loses the ball is out of the game.

Determination of the winners. The remaining players in each circle win.

Options: 1) competitions are held in several stages - the winning players in the first round form semi-final or final pools, the losers compete in repechage games; 2) the game is played repeatedly until one of the participants wins 2 or 3 victories; 3) the duration of the game is regulated by time (24 s - 3 min), 1 bonus point is awarded for each ball knocked out, and the dribblers whose ball was knocked out remain in the circle, but receive 1 penalty point for each loss; the winner is determined by the largest number of bonus points accumulated minus penalties; 4) two teams compete, in each circle there is an equal number of dribblers from each team, balls are knocked out only from opponents, the winning team is determined by one of the above rules.

Children stand in a circle, the driver goes to the middle and throws the ball with the words: “Ball up!” At this time, the players try to run as far as possible from the center of the circle. The driver catches the ball and shouts: "Stop!" Everyone must stop, and the driver, without leaving his place, throws the ball at the one who is closest to him. The stained one becomes a driver. If the driver misses, then he remains again and the game continues.

If the driver did not catch the ball, which rolled far, before shouting: "Stop!", he needs to catch up with the ball and return to his place. Children in the game must be very attentive and quickly respond to the signal.

Game option

The driver stands in the center of the circle and performs an exercise with a ball; children count to five. At the count of five they quickly run away. The driver shouts: "Stop!"- and throws the ball at the player who is closest. The stained one becomes a driver. If he misses, he must catch up with the ball, and at this time the children try to run as far as possible. On signal "Stop!" everyone stops, the driver again tries to insult someone.
