Plot

Shoyo Hinata is a high school student who accidentally saw a national championship match on TV, after which he fell in love with volleyball. Hinata decided to become like the popular player he saw on TV due to his nickname "little giant", despite his short stature. Soon Shoyo creates a volleyball club at school, where he begins independent practice. Due to the lack of members, the club turned into a circle, but in the last year of high school, five more people join the circle, and Hinata decides to create a volleyball team and go to the tournament. A team of three first-years, who have not yet fully learned the rules of volleyball, two third-years, and Hinata himself, is sent to the tournament. In their first tournament, the team loses, because they played against the Kitagawa Daichi school, which is known for its strong play and famous player Tobio Kageyama, who received the nickname "king of the court". Despite the loss, Hinata showed his potential and incredibly high jumps in height, which interested Tobio. Unwilling to accept defeat, Shoyo vows to defeat and surpass Tobio Kageyama. After transferring to Karasuno High School, Hinata meets his old rival. The first few days they had a very tense relationship, but then they found a common language, and their lives began to change very quickly for the better.

My hands have reached my favorite anime in the calm genre. Finally, I can write about how light and warm feelings This anime evokes in me. My opinion is not truly true, I only express it in my review, I have the right. I started watching it while it was ongoing, back in 2014, and right now I’m rewatching it for the second time in the last 5 years. Let's sort everything out, all the pros and cons (if there are any, of course) and I will try to express my love and opinion as clearly as possible.
Let's touch on main question Is this anime worth watching? Of course my answer would be yes.
1st next in line: great picture , which pleases the eye. The drawing is very soft, calm, and at the same time the characters do not get lost against each other. The main characters can be seen from afar, and not only Hinata and Kageyama, but also all the other Karasuno players. Each of them is unique in its own way, and almost all of them are revealed as players (with the exception of a few, but maybe we’ll wait for that later, because the anime is not finished yet and the third season is about to be released.)
2nd next in line: main characters , of course, represent a typical confrontation, sunny Hinata and his enemy-friend Kageyama, more reasonable. Well, as often happens - one of them is an incredible player, and the other is just on his way to becoming an “ace”. But this is what touches me personally. They harmonize well with each other, Kageyama is not quite an icicle who sees nothing but himself. Tobio, like Hinata, grows noticeably as a player and as a person over the course of the anime. Nice to watch.)
3rd next in line: on its own sport , which is the point. Personally, as a person who does not play volleyball, I don’t see any shortcomings in the rules (and other things), but what I can say for sure is that it’s exciting. Very exciting.
4th next in line, but not unimportant: this atmosphere . She's incredible. Each match makes your heart skip a beat, and your soul experiences the same experiences as the characters on the screen. They want to sympathize, support, and when they win, scream with joy. To me, that's exactly what the genre is supposed to evoke. After each episode you watch, your morale rises and you want to go and do something, having a whole carriage and a small cart of motivation in you that you got from watching it. It’s incredibly pleasant to realize that each episode can give you a herd of goosebumps and as many emotions as nothing else has ever caused.
What do we end up with?
Graphics: Solid 10/10.
Heroes: 10/10.
Atmosphere: 10/10.
Osty: 9/10.
Plot: 9/10.
I reviewed it with great, great joy, and gave it a rating forever and ever. 10/10 . All those who are just starting out in the spokon genre should definitely watch this title as an example of WHAT A REAL, good, fit spokon should look like! Enjoy watching everyone!

Howe everyone!

I’ll say right away that this is ONLY MY OPINION, which I do not impose on anyone. If you have any objections, write, maybe we can talk about this topic)

I am writing for all seasons at once, because fundamentally they are no different for me.

I don't even know where to start.

When starting this anime, I was a little inspired by Kuroko's Basketball. I didn't have a very good impression of the above-mentioned title, even though I stopped watching it. In the end, I expected something similar, but hoped for the best. And, as it turned out, not in vain.

I would like to say that, in fact, while watching, I caught myself thinking that the impressions were comparable to the impressions of Gurren Lagann. Quite a strange comparison, I know. However, like Gurren Lagann, this anime is very motivating and full of haunting emotions.

Words cannot express how I felt at the end of the series. Even though I understood what exactly had to happen according to the laws of the genre, I still watched the teams play with clenched teeth and clenched fists.

In general, all 60 episodes passed in one breath. Absolutely everything contributes to this: “living” characters, an excellent soundtrack and, of course, sports action, which is simply brought to perfection.

Last matches and completely turned into a battle of ideologies and worldviews, thanks to which, firstly, the characters were revealed, and secondly, the “battles” themselves became more intense.

The end result is a great sports anime that I will be very happy to give 10 out of 10.

That's all.

All the best and cookies)

Normal anime, watchable when you have nothing else to do, personally it takes me away 6 . Because it doesn’t reach any higher level at all, here it doesn’t interesting matches, everything is too long, they can stretch out one pass for 10 minutes, with all sorts of encouraging words, “You can do it, Come on, MEEEEE.” Very annoying..
The bad feature of this title, its 24 episodes, could easily be fit into 12-13, and the matches would look decent. Some episodes, or part of the episodes, can simply be cut out, as there is unnecessary chatter.
In fact, I never thought that I would watch it because I understood that it most likely would not suit me. But... this is not bad, it’s almost good, commendable!
The difference with the same is striking, everything is better there, except for the drawing (but this is its own style).
Yes, I even liked it, it wasn’t so boring, it was shown EVERYTHING YOU NEED.
And here there is EVEN MORE THAN NEEDED, and because of this it is impossible to watch.
I hope in the next parts everything will be GOOD)
