Bag for spinning tackle. Bag for shore spinning fishing

In the life of every person who is interested in spinning, there comes a time when you grow out of that first box in which you put the first bait you deliberately bought. Be it a spinner, a wobbler or the most ordinary “hoof” of 3 inches.

In the life of every person who is interested in spinning, there comes a time when you grow out of that first box in which you put the first bait you deliberately bought. Be it a spinner, a wobbler or the most ordinary “hoof” of 3 inches. Gradually, with experience in spinning fishing, more and more spinners, wobblers, all kinds of fasteners and leashes appear in the treasured box. Another one is added to it... Then another. And you are surprised to discover that everything you want to take with you on a fishing trip no longer fits not only in your favorite, very first box, but also in the second, third...

And you start looking for a box or a small suitcase specially designed for bait and equipment. I had one like this. “Upside down”, opening on both sides. But it didn't serve me for long. More precisely, every time it was turned over, everything inside the suitcase was “in a heap”, making a “rumbling” sound. The wobblers scratched against each other, the tees were almost tightly intertwined.

Then there was more boxing. Already with three rows of boxes and special compartments for all sorts of small items, polarized glasses and even a coil. Great boxing. Preserved baits and contents from accidental impacts in the car during transportation. One small minus is the size. In a boat, when there is a judge (at competitions) and a partner nearby, there is not enough space, to put it mildly. And a couple of times, having touched and hit the corner of a box in a boat, I began to think... And I began to look for options for storing and transporting my modest, but quite capacious arsenal of spinning rods. At that moment, a bag for bait from the SALMO company caught my eye. Bag article number – Salmo H-3507.

Externally made of khaki material. It looks dense and quite resistant to wear. The bag is equipped with two handles and a shoulder strap. For convenience, the handles can be folded together and “clamped” with a Velcro flap. It’s very convenient when you put the bag on the floor, the handles don’t fall apart, you can easily take it with one hand.

The shoulder strap is not removable, with adjustable length and a wide shoulder pad. For a comfortable fit, you can shorten or lengthen the strap.

A braided rubber cord is stretched in a zigzag pattern on the top cover. Under it I fit a rain jacket from the NORFIN – Escape Compact suit. Two small ultralight boxes fit compactly under it when carried. Elastic bands with a tight-fitting jacket prevent them from falling out when being carried from car to boat. But I rarely do this unless my pockets are completely full.

The left and right pockets on the sides of the bag are equipped with mesh pockets, slightly larger than a pack of 3-inch rubber or a standard skein of braid.

The pockets themselves are quite capacious. In one of them I have a pack of doubles, two or three spare packs of rubber, and in the right pocket a couple of boxes with small spinners and ultralight wobblers.

I want to say that the depth of the pockets allows you to throw some small things at the bottom, like a folding knife, a couple of boxes of small doubles and, as an option, I often leave one of these pockets for a small camera with a case.

The front pocket is almost the same length as the bag itself. Big and deep. It can easily accommodate an extractor, pliers, small scissors and all sorts of tools, even slightly larger than the size of a pocket.

On the back of the bag, unfastening the lock gives access to many small pockets. They conveniently contain bags with spare leashes, fasteners, swivels, hooks for the “diverter” and other necessary little things.

WITH inside In front of the bag there is another mesh pocket, the width of the entire flap. In terms of size, you can put a pack of “rubber” in two rows.

Well, in fact, by unfastening the lock on the front side of the bag, access to the boxes themselves opens.

There are six boxes. Dimensions 28x18x4 cm. Stacked vertically, in a stack, from bottom to top. For ease of transportation, the boxes are secured with a zip tie. Preventing the boxes from fidgeting during transportation. But, to be honest, I don’t use this screed. The bag is sewn exactly to the size of the boxes and, with the front part of the bag closed with a lock, it does not allow them to “fidget.” In general, they won’t go anywhere there.

The boxes themselves have adjustable dividers to change the size of the bait compartment.

One small nuance - the partition is solid, with cutouts according to the number of compartments. Those. You can increase the length of a box compartment, but you cannot change the size of the adjacent compartment. But in this situation, the Salmo box with article number 1500-86, size 275x190x45, helped. But the Flambeau box with item number 4006 was even better. They both almost exactly match the size of the bag box. In both of them it is possible to adjust the length of the compartment without affecting the adjacent row. This is very convenient for sorting, for example, jig heads by weight or size. It also turned out to be convenient for sorting various “edibles” by color.

And the standard boxes from the bag were “divided” into wobblers and all kinds of turntables according to the size of the compartments. Another convenience of the bag and additional boxes is that depending on the intended fishing, I sort the boxes by bait and take with me only those that I will need. Those. I just put the boxes I need in my bag.

This is how I lived through two sports seasons, participating in various spinning fishing competitions. The bag turned out to be very convenient for lures. Quite capacious, with the size of boxes, in the compartments of which I put all the wobblers, spinners, rubber, various fasteners, leashes, hooks and a lot of everything that could be needed in the boat...

And I paid attention to a lot important point– silence inside and outside. The material of the bag dampens all movement of wobblers and jig heads in boxes. It doesn’t rattle, doesn’t knock the ends on the side of the boat, and doesn’t move the plastic around the trunk of the car. Need bait? I unfastened the lock (not even completely), pulled out the desired box, found my favorite wobbler and put the box back in the bag. Moreover, you do not need to fasten the lock completely; it is enough to leave it half or 2/3 open for quick access to the boxes, and the front cover of the bag prevents the contents from slipping out.

Over the past two seasons, having considerably replenished my “ammunition” of wobblers and “rubber”, I began to think about whether I should put the contents of the boxes into different bags. Considering that the wobblers that I mainly use to fish started from 10 cm, I began to look for a bag, namely a bag, for them. There were two criteria for the choice - ease of storage and transportation, plus fairly large “twitching” wobblers required a longer box, unlike the boxes in the Salmo bag. And the choice fell on this year’s new product – the Lucky Jonn bag, article number LJ-108.

Compact, stylish, contrasting black and red color, its design is very reminiscent of the Salmo bag, which has already been proven over the years.

The handles are also equipped with a flap with Velcro. I repeat - very convenient. When you carry things into the car loaded, and you need to “change” your hand, the handles don’t fall apart to the left and right, but I put the bag on the ground and immediately grabbed the handle with my other hand.

The shoulder strap is removable, with powerful carabiners. It is also adjustable and has a wide shoulder pad.

The bag lid is equipped with a rubber tie. My NORFIN Escape Compact rain jacket, in terms of volume, can also comfortably fit under the rubber tie.

On the left side of the bag there are two pockets for a penknife or extractor pliers and are secured with a Velcro flap for reliability.

WITH right side There is a pocket the width of the bag. Sufficiently deep and wide, which can accommodate three or four packs of rubber or pieces of equipment, the size of a pocket.

On the front side, almost the entire length of the bag, there is a pocket with an additional compartment on the outside. Deep and wide, for tools or equipment, hooks in small boxes or, as an option, for a couple of ultralight boxes.

Having opened the lock with two “sliders” at the top, we get to the contents of the bag.

The lid itself has two pockets with locks. The size can easily accommodate 2-3 packs of rubber, small equipment or accessories for spinning fishing. The pockets are made of soft plastic, which, as I understand it, also serves as protection from rain or splashes in the boat.

And most importantly. What, in fact, is what this bag was invented for – fairly wide and roomy boxes. Size 36x22x5 cm.

The boxes are arranged vertically. They fit tightly enough into a bag with virtually no free space. At the same time, it is not difficult to pull out any of them with one hand.

The boxes themselves are equipped with partitions that allow you to adjust the length of the cell depending on the size of the bait. In fact, given the size of the box, you can fit any wobbler for spinning fishing. True, I think there won’t be enough space for jerks, but they have their own, maximally wide boxes.

Alternatively, the partitions can be spread out to allow the use of small and medium-sized baits. Personally, my modest twitch kit fits perfectly.

There is even room left for wobblers - new products from the Lucky Jonn PRO SERIES company, models BASARA and ANIRA.

I hope my modest practical experience will help you not to be distracted by searching for bait in boxes in your pockets or scattered in the boat, because they will all be right here, nearby - in your bag!

As a rule, when buying the first spinning rod and a couple of spinners, a novice angler purchases or takes out a box for storing them. And if the stock of baits continues to grow and one box becomes not enough, then more, more, and finally a bag for storing and carrying them are purchased. As a result, you end up with a vegetable garden made of boxes, boxes, drawers, and they don’t always match the size of the bag for carrying them.
To ease the pain of choice for beginners and guide them on the right path, I decided to write this mini-review.

This bag was bought 4 years ago for $9 and has been actively used for its intended purpose all this time.
And its purpose is to store baits in a relatively orderly manner and carry the whole thing with you during short hikes across a body of water.
Some people prefer hard suitcases that slide when the lid is opened, others like soft wallet cases. I chose boxes.
Since the suitcase is heavy, depending on its size it can hold a lot of baits, and some designs and reels with cords are more suitable for stationary fishing from the shore or in a boat. For actively moving fishermen, a backpack is more suitable, and if I were fishing this way, I would not hesitate to take one.
But I walk with a spinning rod not far from a couple of kilometers from the parking lot, so my bags are enough.

Consists of 5 compartments: 1 main and 4 on the sides. A retriever is hidden in one of the corners - in the form of a clasp on a silicone twisted cord. I didn’t really test it for strength as I wasn’t used to using it.
The clasps on the shoulder strap are plastic and tight - they definitely won't come undone by accident.

There is also a small semi-rigid bottom that is secured with side Velcro.
There are two strips glued to the side walls for attaching Velcro (why they are needed there in such quantities, I still don’t understand)

The capacity of the bag is quite sufficient for a beginning spinning player. It can hold up to 6 Plano 3500 size boxes. (4 in the main compartment and 2 in the side compartments).

The end pockets perfectly hold 8-10 packs of medium-sized rubber.

The material is quite dense, accidentally stuck hooks do not pierce and can be easily removed. A polyethylene type lining is glued to the inside. If the bag accidentally falls into the water, then there is a good chance of getting its contents out dry.

Tested in heavy short rain and when walking on water.
The load capacity should also be fine - I carried 5kg and even jumped a little from cliffs and trees - nothing broke.
My arsenal of spinning junk still fits completely, except for the reels.

Among the shortcomings, it is worth noting the small lid of the main compartment - if there are 4 boxes, then it is inconvenient to get the outer boxes without placing the bag on the ground.
I would also call the location of the handle on the lid controversial. To carry a bag you need to zip it up. Although, in fairness, it is worth noting that I mostly carry it on a belt.
It would be nice to divide one of the side pockets into smaller compartments - for bags with hooks, clasps and other small things.
Boxes of 3520 were already bought here at Spinningline. After several fishing trips, I squealed with happiness and firmly decided for myself that if there were a carrying-storage system, then only Plano or Flambeau, I threw it away and gave away all the Chinese boxes to beginners.
Now the store has a version of this bag for sale with boxes included.

There will be no more cats - they are sent to the village for the summer to stay with their grandparents.

January 14

Good afternoon, fishing friends. Today I would like to tell you about such a useful thing for us as a belt bag. We're talking about a belt bag. More precisely, it is called this: Rod holder belt + spinning bag STAKAN-3.2 color - Black from ideaFisher.

I used to go fishing with a backpack. It doesn’t seem very convenient, having to constantly remove the backpack when changing bait, but, on the whole, it suited me. But this summer, I discovered new look fishing is fishing for grayling. There are already different requirements for both the set of gear and uniforms. If before I fished from the shore and I didn’t even have wading boots, then when catching grayling, I had to climb into the river. And in the water, in order to change the bait, you need to put the spinning rod in the water or go ashore. Both options yourself understand “not ice”. And the question arose about buying a bag, which I had been thinking about for a long time, but somehow I never got around to it. To be honest, I scoured the Internet for a long time and went shopping, and in the end I bought this bag - which I am very happy about. Later, when going fishing, the thought repeatedly occurred to me what a good gift I had given myself. Okay, I'll start in order.

First. The agony of choice. At first I thought that buying a bag would be easier than steamed turnips - I went and bought it. And when I started looking at it, figuring out what conditions would suit it, it turned out to be not so easy to find something that would really fit. I looked everywhere, in online stores, in retail stores, and on Aliexpress.

How did I come to this particular product? Firstly, there are many different bags sold that are just a bag, without a belt. I ignored them for myself and realized that I needed a bag to be on my belt. And it's actually convenient. When it is on the belt, it does not dangle, does not fall off, sits tighter, everything, as they say, is right in front of your nose. On the other hand, I understood that one belt is also not enough - it must be hung on the shoulder or neck. Be sure to take this bag. The fact is that even when I wear mine only on my belt, if it is completely stuffed, my lower back gets tired. If it doesn’t fit very tightly, it dangles and wants to fall off, but you don’t always want to tighten it very tightly, either. It’s hot in the summer, and I just want it to be freer. Therefore, it is very convenient when part of the load falls on the back, and part on the shoulders. Personally, when I move with it, or throw a spinning rod, in most cases it is tied on my belt and hanging around my neck. When I’m walking along a good road, it just happens over my shoulder.

Another important point is the size. There are a lot of these bags (especially branded ones) that cost a lot of money, but only a couple of small boxes fit in there. I also discarded such bags, let it be larger, because the stock, as they say, is not too tight on the pocket. Sometimes I take a small box from the bait, and the bag is almost empty, but it does not interfere with its dimensions, since it weighs nothing (it does not interfere with bending and unbending). Moreover, in this option, I can take sandwiches and water or a thermos with me. Well, if you need to take more, then this bag allows you to do it. And again, due to the fact that it is worn both on the belt and on the neck, it is not heavy. It fits a large box 28 cm long, small boxes, tools, a knife, a spare spool, polarizing pads and even a half-liter bottle of water (see photo). In short, she will take away everything you need. In the photo, I put everything in it, for the winter as a warehouse, except for packs of rubber. This is overkill, well, if you take out a couple of small boxes, then this is already a normal camping option.

The third important point is the so-called glass. Friends, this is a “thing” and many of the bags that I looked at do not have it. If earlier I put the spinning rod on the ground, or put it on a tree, or squeezed it between my legs, now I put it in a glass and like a “white man.” There is no need to rush, everything is done with two free hands, right before your eyes. Well, if you need to change the bait while standing in the water, then you simply can’t do without it. It seems like such a small thing, but in the water there is no other way to change the bait, in any case, I don’t understand how this can be done. On some models there are 2 glasses on the right and left sides, on my bag there are 1 on the right (if dressed), I am completely satisfied.

Fourth. The side pocket is also convenient, there I have a round office pencil case for leashes, and there is also exactly the same amount of space for some mosquito repellent (at least that’s how I use it). If you take out the pencil case and the mosquito repellent, you can put water in it.

Fifth. There are also plastic rings on the bottom of the bag on both sides. And again, as for me. The thing is that I tie ropes from wading boots to them so that they don’t fall off. Then I want to attach carabiners to the ropes on the boots so that they can be fastened to the bag very quickly. There is also a ring on the bag higher up, where I carried the lipgrip, but then the lipgrip fell off when I was making my way through some gullies. Long story short, the lip grip went away.

Sixth point. There is also a pocket table made of foam. The thing is convenient, but it can be used while it is open (to hook the bait to the foam). Once I left a couple of running baits on this table, then closed it, made a small transition, and when I opened it, the baits were re-engaged with each other and on other walls of the pocket. So that nothing gets confused there, you need to select a box according to its size, but somehow I haven’t gotten around to that yet. This compartment itself is quite large and I just put different boxes or tools there. This compartment (pocket-table) and the main compartment each have two zippers. It seems like a small thing, but it’s convenient and functional.

On the outside of this pocket-table there is also a dense narrow pocket; the zipper can be seen in the photo. So, I use that too. I put my smartphone and car keys there. I also need to buy some kind of case for my smartphone, sometimes, no, no, but I trip (rocks are everywhere) and fall into the water, or I scoop it up and part of the bag gets wet.

Based on the material from which the bag is made, I can say that it is durable. I walk along the shore, often making my way through windbreaks, clinging to branches and trees, but my bag is always in front. During the active summer season, everything is fine with the bag, there is not even a hint of wear or fatigue, and I think that it will serve for a long time. Feels durable.

Dimensions in terms of who it is suitable for? I myself am quite thin, it fits me well and I can even make it even tighter (tighten) if necessary. On the other hand, for large people, there is still 40-50 centimeters of reserve (at the waist), and maybe more, so I think it will suit everyone. Another nice feature is that the bag has a loop, through which you can hang the bag somewhere on a hanger or nail. I usually grab it when I take it out of the trunk of the car, or vice versa.

Overall, I’ll say it again, I really liked this bag, it’s a very thoughtful, practical, high-quality, and functional thing. I bought it on sale at fmagazine for 1156 rubles. I don’t know what else I could buy for that kind of money, but it’s not even about the money. Sometimes you buy a thing, and then you prefer another one, with slightly different characteristics (well, for example, I like my spinning rod, but when this one dies, the next one will be different). In this case, I will say that this is “my” thing, and for myself I found what I need. Something that suits exactly my fishing conditions. And if I needed a bag again, I would buy exactly this one. I like everything about it, as if it was designed for me. The only thing I saw on one of the belt bags, it seems to be from the aquatic brand, is a long pocket on the side for a thermos. Maybe it could be added (under a liter thermos) and I can’t imagine how convenient it would be if the thermos hung somewhere on the hip.

And one more thing about the bag. When I looked at reviews on the Internet, one of the authors said that it was inconvenient to bend over for fish. Yes, if the bag is full, then it really is. But I get out of this situation in the following way. I don’t tighten it very tightly on my belt and when I bring in the fish, with one movement of my hand I move it to the side. This is again one of the arguments that you need both a belt and a shoulder strap.

Well, if you are “sick” of spinning, then you will definitely need the appropriate equipment, which is intended for this type of fishing. One of the most common types of equipment is a spinning vest, designed specifically for spinning and. In addition to the vest, the spinning equipment also includes other necessary things, without which such fishing is already unthinkable.

Vest

A spinning vest is one of those pieces of equipment that is simply necessary when fishing. Useful for both spinning and fly fishing. You can pack it in a backpack and put it on when you arrive. In such a vest, many tackles and necessary little things are placed, which before the start of fishing have a place in the backpack and when fishing you cannot do without them.

Even a thermos with hot tea and food will fit. If necessary, there is no need to run anywhere, all the necessary items are available. Hands free, complete unloading. These vests are called unloading vests. They allow you to evenly distribute all the necessary items in storage areas, in pockets.

Eat Russian models There are imported vests, for example, “Burbot” - models from well-known companies SHIMANO, AQUATIC, Golden catch and others. It is worth understanding that this is multifunctional clothing, and it cannot be very cheap. If you buy a vest for less than 1000 rubles, then be prepared that the fasteners will break and the seams will come apart. The vest will not last long.

Vest for fly fishing and spinning

I would recommend buying a golden catch spinning vest. This is a model that is very popular among fishermen. It is cut very well. Distinctive feature is that the golden catch spinning vest is easy to wash and clean. Dries very quickly. There is no need to select a vest by size; it can be adjusted to any height and waist width using the straps. This vest is fastened with a zipper and then with fasteners. All accessories are of good quality. More than twenty external and internal pockets provide secure storage for many things. The pockets have propylene inserts to which spinning baits are attached so that they do not get tangled. Swivels and carabiners, Velcro, and loops complement the ergonomics of such a vest. Added to all other advantages is its low price.

The video shows a life jacket for a spinning angler:

Among the expensive models, we can highlight the NEXUS VF 193j vest (SHIMANO), a beautiful design and an advanced brand, but the price is about 20,000 rubles.

Bag

The next important piece of equipment is the spinning bag. When moving along the shore with a spinning rod, it becomes necessary to put the baits so that they are always nearby. Spinning bags come in both traditional and waist bags.

The belt bag has large pockets in which you can store large items such as bobbins or scales. A belt bag is usually made from waterproof materials. Such a bag can be multi-sectional, equipped with storage boxes. These bags will help you store large number baits and are filled to capacity.

An alternative to a soft bag is a belt box. The box moves along the belt and is optionally located either behind your back or on your stomach, whichever is more convenient for you. This box has smooth edges and fits tightly to the body. The lid of this box is made of transparent plastic, which allows you to see all the items that are in it. More durable than a box - a spinning box. In such a spinning box you can neatly put all the gear.

The golden catch spinning bag, like the vest from the same manufacturer, is very popular among spinning and fly fishing enthusiasts.

Watch the video to see the advantages of a spinning bag:

Belt

A spinning belt can serve as a replacement for the unloading vest. For example, a belt is a STAKAN 3.1 spinning bag. This is a modification of the popular duffel bag. This belt is equipped with a rod holder made of heat-resistant material. Holder - supports the glass. The size of the glass is such that you can put any form in it. There is no need to place the fishing rod on the ground or hold it between your legs while fishing. Also in the belt there is a pocket with a “table” where you can quickly change the bait.

Kit

The spinning set includes such a number of items that an inexperienced person does not even suspect. So, when going fishing, an experienced fisherman will not forget to take from home: line cutters, a lighter for burning knots of the fishing line, an extractor for removing hooks from the fish’s mouth, a yawner or a jaw gripper for pulling out the bait, a landing net, a cucumber, special pliers for unclenching the winding ones rings and hook changers, hook sharpener, headlamp, crocheting machine, polarized glasses. And this is not the entire list necessary for spinning fishing. You cannot buy such a set; you have to assemble it.

To protect your hands in cold weather You will need spinning gloves. Gloves are considered a winter piece of equipment. The peculiarity of such gloves is that the large and index finger free from fabric, they can be used for various manipulations with gear and fishing rods if you fish. After all, you will always keep your index finger on the form. But there is a problem: when casting a braided line, the index finger gets injured on it and also freezes when fishing with a spinning rod in cold weather. Many people wrap their finger with adhesive tape.

There are gloves with all the “fingers” cut off. Spinning gloves are produced by the same companies that produce clothing for fishing - “Serebryany Ruchey”, “Flagman”, Alaskan and others.

Those who do not chase modern fashion trends use ordinary construction gloves with rubberized bumps in the form of pimples. For convenience, the necessary fingers are cut off. True, when casting, the hook gets caught on the soft cotton fabric of these products.

You can also buy cycling gloves or neoprene for diving, and used for spinning.

When you go fishing on foot, or for several days, you realize that the number of necessary things increases significantly. They will no longer fit in a small bag; you will need a spinning backpack. In such a backpack for multi-day fishing you can put kettles, a first aid kit, food, a hatchet and other little things needed for an overnight stay. The backpack should be large, its volume is approximately 30-40 liters. In order to attach a tent to it, the backpack must be equipped with additional straps. and it is better to fasten the sleeping bag on top so that the useful area of the backpack is not eaten up.

Well, if such a backpack is used instead of a bag for short-term fishing, then a volume of 15-20 liters will be enough.

Cloth

Walking fishing in the cool season - winter, spring, autumn, requires special clothing. Clothes for spinning and fly fishing will differ from those. The main difference will be that the fisherman constantly moves while fishing with a spinning rod, and does not sit on the ice.

A spinning player's clothing consists of several layers. The first layer is thermal underwear, with thermal socks on your feet. The second layer is fleece pants and jacket. The third layer is the suit. A modern suit involves the use of membrane fabrics that are necessarily waterproof. The suit should not restrict movement and not interfere with walking. And, probably most importantly, the suit should be light. Of the models offered, these are, first of all, suits from such well-known manufacturers as DAIWA, SHIMANO, Norfin. An affordable suit for fishing with a Rokwell spinning rod.

All layers can be separated. Since most fishing takes place in conditions where the reservoirs do not freeze, and, therefore, the air temperature will not be very low, instead of a suit they wear a jacket that protects from wind, rain and moisture. In general, in order to protect yourself from splashes when fishing, it is good to wear windproof, waterproof suits.

For spinning fishing on small rivers, you will need a rubber wading suit.

Cloth

There are a lot of different types of shoes nowadays. Depending on the weather conditions, sneakers, rubber boots, galoshes, and EVA wading boots are worn.

We can conclude that modern spinning equipment requires significant expenses, but nevertheless, fishermen spend these expenses. The excitement, adrenaline, and complete rest that a person receives while fishing with a spinning rod more than covers everything!

Folk sign: You cannot share bait with a stranger when fishing; you can give him hooks and fishing line, but under no circumstances give him bait. It won't be cool!
