What are war games in World of. War games

War Games are competitions in Fortified Areas that take place at a certain time and include four disciplines. Clans earn points in disciplines, and the most successful ones receive valuable prizes not only for the entire clan,
but also for every fighter.

Click WAR GAMES in the upper left corner of the Stronghold to go to the War Games screen.

Rules of War Games

  • All clans automatically become participants in competitions in all disciplines if they participate in Forays and Offensives during the War Games.
  • For achievements in each discipline, the clan receives points. The number of points depends on the result and battle mode.
  • In addition, the clan receives additional points for best result in every discipline.
  • If a clan has scored a sufficient number of points, it takes a top place in the discipline ranking.

Disciplines

Competitions in War Games are held in four disciplines: Advantage, Onslaught, Shooting and Summoning.

  • Overweight
  • Onslaught
  • Shooting
  • Call

The clan receives points for each unit of difference in the battle score. If the score is not in favor of the clan, then no points are awarded.

Record: all fights.

Example. The run in the X division ended with a score of 8:1 in your favor. Difference in score: 7 units. Points in the “Overweight” discipline: 7 × 125 = 875.

The clan receives points for each remaining second of the time allotted for the battle.

Test: only victorious battles.

Example. The X Division outing lasted 9 minutes and ended in your victory. Remaining battle time: 60 seconds (1 minute). Points in the “Onslaught” discipline: 60 × 5 = 300.

The clan receives points for each enemy vehicle destroyed.

Record: all fights.

Example. During the Foray in Division X, your clan destroyed 7 enemy vehicles. Points in the “Shooting” discipline: 7 × 125 = 875.

The clan receives points for each legionnaire in the squad.

Test: only victorious battles.

Example. During the victorious Sortie in the X Division, your squad included 3 legionnaires. Points in the Summoning discipline: 3 × 500 = 1500.

Ratings

During each War Games, a separate rating is maintained for all disciplines. The number of prizes in each discipline is different.

Clans that score a sufficient number of points take prizes in the discipline. Clans with large quantity points occupy the highest ranking positions. If several clans received the same number of points in the “Shooting”, “Overweight” or “Summoning” disciplines, the highest positions will be taken by the clans that spent less time in battles.

Awards

Clans that take prizes in disciplines receive various rewards.

There are two types of rewards:

  • clan - high-level reserves;
  • personal - game gold, which is awarded to the player for participation in battles in two disciplines: “Advantage” and “Onslaught”.

Conditions for accruing personal rewards:

  • Rewards are distributed among players after the end of the competition.
  • Only those players who played at least one battle during the competition receive gold.
  • Gold is distributed among players based on the points that players receive for winning each discipline.
  • The rules for calculating personal rewards are the same for clan players and legionnaires.

Calculation of a player's personal reward

Personal rewards are distributed among participants in battles in proportion to their contribution to the outcome of the War Games. The more points a player earns for the clan, the more gold he will receive.

The principle of gold distribution in both disciplines is the same, but for each discipline its amount is calculated separately and then summed up.

If a player participated in battles for different clans within the same discipline, then gold is calculated separately for his participation in each clan.

The amount of in-game gold earned by a player in battles for one clan within one discipline is calculated by the formula:

G - the amount of gold the player will receive

T P /T C — the player’s contribution to the overall result of the competition in the discipline, where:

T P — the number of points earned by one player in battles fought within one discipline
T C — the total number of points earned by all players for all the battles they played within one discipline

C R — clan reward in the form of game gold

R G — the balance of game gold distributed among players depending on the amount of their contribution to the results of the competition

Let's look at an example of calculating personal rewards in the Onslaught discipline. Let's assume that the clan squad consisted of three players. The clan fought three battles, and the composition of the squad changed. The clan took first place in the discipline and received a reward of 10,000 gold.

When carrying out calculations, it is assumed that the number of points earned by each individual player for a battle is equal to the number of points earned by the squad for the same battle. That is, if a squad earned 270 points for a battle, this means that each player in the squad earned 270 points for that battle.

The table shows the points earned by players and the amount of their contribution based on the results of the battles.

1st fight 2nd fight 3rd fight T P )
Player A 270 450 320 1040
Player B 450 320 770
Player C 270 450 720
Player D 270 320 590
Total points for all battles ( T C ) 3120

Let's calculate step by step the size of player A's personal reward.

Player A participated in three battles and earned a total of 1040 points. The total number of points earned by all players in the overall fight was 3120.

Step1. Calculation of the player's contribution and the overall result of three battles

Step2. Calculating the preliminary amount of gold awarded to player A

In the resulting value, only its entire part is taken into account.

The preliminary amount of gold for all other players is calculated using the same principle.

Player points for all battles played ( T P ) Player contribution ( T P / T C ) T P / T C x C R )
Player A 1040 0,33333 3333
Player B 770 0,24679 2467
Player C 720 0,23076 2307
Player D 590 0,18910 1891
Total points for all battles ( T C ) 3120

Step3. Calculation of the remaining gold resulting from rounding

Step4. Distribution of the received balance between players

The distribution begins with the player with the largest contribution. Depending on the rating, each squad member receives one unit of gold until the balance is zero.

Player contribution ( T P / T C ) Preliminary amount of gold ( T P / T C x C R ) Remainder Gold earned ( G )
Player A 0,33333 3333 1 3334
Player B 0,24679 2467 1 2468
Player C 0,23076 2307 0 2307
Player D 0,18910 1891 0 1891
Clan reward ( C R ) 10 000

Thus, the personal reward of player A within one discipline was:

The amount of in-game gold for the rest of the squad members is calculated using the same principle.

War Games Schedule

War games take place every Saturday. During the day, battles are divided into three stages:

  • Stage I: 15:00-17:59 (Moscow time)
  • Stage II: 18:00-20:59 (Moscow time)
  • Stage III: 21:00-23:59 (Moscow time)

You can view the battle schedule in the game client. Click (Schedule) to the right of the Clan Battles button in your Stronghold or in the window Fortified area: battles.

"Fortified areas" - game mode for clan players. It is available in the game client and is in no way connected with battles and campaigns on the Global Map. A fortified area is the property of a clan, which consists of a command center, directions leading to it, and additional buildings. A fortified area can be created by the clan commander for free, if desired.

It is a mistake to believe that the new mode is similar to an ordinary browser strategy. All features of the mode are free, and resources are obtained exclusively on the fields of tank battles.

Battles in the Fortified Areas mode

The Guide to Fortified Areas states that in order to develop a Fortified Area and receive bonuses (reserves), an industrial resource is required, which is earned through sorties.

The sortie is a company battle, with teams selected randomly from among those in at the moment went on a sortie. Any player can create a company to participate in a sortie, but before going into battle, you need to study the Fortified Area guide and decide on the type of sortie: the maximum level of available equipment depends on this. The game features three types of forays:

  1. Average 7 to 7 (levels 1–6).
  2. Champion 10 vs 10 (levels 1–8).
  3. Absolute 15 to 15 (levels 1–10).

The battle takes place according to standard company rules. Based on the results of the battle, the amount of Industrial resource earned by each player and the team as a whole is calculated.

Buildings and reserves

The received Industrial resource can be spent on constructing and upgrading buildings, which, in turn, produce Reserves - temporary in-game bonuses that apply to all clan fighters in all World of Tank game modes, including random battles.

Type of Reserve The essence of the bonus Maximum bonus amount* Where is it produced?
"Battle Pay" Increase in credits for all battles Up to 50% Financial part
« Tactical training» Increase in experience for all battles Up to 50% Tankodrome
"Military Exercises" Increase in free experience for all battles Up to 100% Military school

"Heavy transport" Increase to Industrial resource in sorties Up to 25% Motor transport part
"Requisition" Increased bonus when looting an enemy fortified area Up to 50% Trophy brigade
"Evacuation" Mitigation negative consequences looting Up to -50% Quartermaster service

In future updates it is planned to add new types of Reserves.

Office

In the current version of the game, the reserve of the Chancellery “Special Instructions” is also available for activation: a special combat mission is activated for all clan fighters. It must be completed during the reserve period, that is, within two hours. For completing the task the player will receive a reward. The size and quality of the reward depend on the level of the Office.

Tankers!

We continue test launches of “War Games” in the Fortified Area.

What has changed since the launch on July 9

All details can be seen directly in the game client.

In the future, the schedule and rewards may change depending on the gaming activity of the clans.

War Games Schedule
War Games disciplines

“War Games” will take place in four different disciplines:

  • "Shooting" - Challenge points are earned for each enemy tank destroyed.
  • "Overweight" - Challenge points are earned for the difference in destroyed tanks between teams. The greater the difference in the number of enemy tanks destroyed in battle, the more challenge points the winning clan will receive.
  • "Onslaught" - challenge points for quick victories. The faster the clan wins the battle, the more challenge points he will receive.
  • "Summoning" - challenge points are given for the number of legionnaires in victorious battles. For each legionnaire in a victorious battle, challenge points will be awarded.

Thus, each victory of a clan in Fortified Areas will bring it challenge points in four ratings at once.

The number of test points will depend on the battle mode. At X levels in “Offensive” the coefficients of test points will be higher, in “Sorties” - lower.

In the future, the War Games nominations may be changed and supplemented.
