Going to the gym or visiting. Free guest visit to moreon fitness - come and see for yourself Energy - a source of positive energy for all times

Hello everyone, I’ll tell you about going to the gym.

But first:

  1. I’m not a sports person at all, I’m always exempt from physical education for all 11 grades. I never wanted to go to fitness, I never went. I just hate running. I haven’t been chasing a bus for a long time, I’m walking quietly in the rain. In general, she's still... lazy. But I love walking, I can alternate intensity, etc.
  2. My husband is also not athletic, but due to his job he has to pass physical tests, so he runs occasionally. And he loves to ride a bike. I was not noticed in fitness))
  • The first stage transition to healthy life was our joint refusal of bakery and fatty foods. The result for a month of keeping a diary is 1.8 kg
(but, as you can see from the weight loss graph, I didn’t record my weight loss for a year, and I didn’t start tracking my weight loss right away, so the carbohydrate shock took another +1 kg for sure)

By the way, about fat on the w..e (that’s exactly how she puts it) I recommend -

(if suddenly the video is not attached)

  • The second stage is training. result 2.6 kg for 3 workouts in 3 different clubs in a week.
On our own at home - we are lazy f..s + the load is not the same.

So we decided to find a fitness center. In life, if I can save money, then I save. Why have a ticket to the first row at the theater when you can see better from the balcony and the price is 10 times cheaper?

And again, a digression, special for Muscovites: 2 theaters where you can see (and hear) AMAZINGly from the balcony and tickets cost 100-300 rubles - the Maly Theater (both the main stage and the stage on Ordynka) and the main stage of the Moscow Youth Theater. I checked it personally, I’ve been to Maly 15 times, and to MTYUZ 2 times. (MTYUZ - if your height is up to 1.60, do not take rows 2 to 4 of the balcony))

Accordingly, when choosing a hall, it is necessary to take into account many components, such as

  • convenience of location (to home, to work);
  • price;
  • the volume of services included in the price;
  • quantity and quality of simulators;
  • service and all sorts of extra goodies - water, a towel, a bathhouse, slippers, soap, a separate shower (or at least separated from everyone else by a partition), etc.;
  • and the MAIN thing for me is a feeling of comfort.
ABOUT GUEST VISITS

Almost all clubs have them and are divided into 3 groups:

  • included in the already purchased card, i.e. a club member brings someone for free,
  • paid for beginners - from 300 to 2000 - all day at your disposal all the free services of the club - hall, groups, swimming pool, sauna, in general everything
  • free for beginners - the same as above, but you don’t have to pay.
Fitness websites usually carefully hide not only the cost of the cards, but also the cost of the guest. Everything in order to attract the client, acquire his data and call, call, call. In general, increase conversion.

Today, many fitness centers in Moscow offer their future clients a free guest visit - an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the qualifications of trainers, study the location and condition before purchasing a full-fledged subscription gyms and equipment, determine whether the institution as a whole meets the expectations of potential athletes.

A guest visit to a fitness club is an offer that’s hard to refuse

High competition between establishments forces owners and managers to look for new methods of attracting customers. Not everyone will agree to buy an expensive subscription without the opportunity to first evaluate the quality of the fitness center. For some, a good and clean pool, with many free lanes, is important; others would prefer an excellent trainer in martial arts or other sports. Guest visits to the fitness center offered by most centers will allow you to appreciate all this.

How to find a free guest visit to a fitness club in Moscow?

Our portal contains up-to-date information on Moscow sports clubs, where future clients will be able to try a guest visit before purchasing a subscription. We have collected telephone numbers, addresses, websites and services of sports centers that you can visit before purchasing a subscription. In particular, we suggest finding out which fitness club is ready to offer a guest visit for free. All information is presented in convenient tables, with which you can quickly compare prices for visiting different establishments.

There are 3 fitness clubs with a swimming pool in Moscow. provides premium services. We try to tell about ourselves in detail on the pages of our website and groups on social networks, but the most complete picture of us can be formed during a guest visit. During a guest visit, our managers will tell you in detail and show you the huge fitness state, take you to the locker rooms, show you the pools and saunas, and tell you in more detail about our club life. You will also get to know our instructors, see with your own eyes the variety of our exercise equipment and the group program room.

Why is a guest visit to a fitness club with a swimming pool necessary?

Such a visit will help you get as much information as possible about fitness club and the services we offer. Personal communication with instructors will provide an idea of qualifications and knowledge. You will also be able to understand the principle of how training and classes are organized in a fitness club. The pool in the photographs can amaze with its scope and beauty. But only a direct visit to the pool will allow you to form your own opinion about its cleanliness, and decide whether this is what you dreamed of.

The gym has long been a mandatory part of my daily routine. I’ve been training for 10 years now: both on my own and with instructors, I’ve tried and seen different centers and gyms in Minsk and Moscow (while I worked there for three years). I even remember practicing yoga for three months. I went to the pool, which resembled appearance more of a school than a sports facility. There were, of course, breaks during which I trained at home using routines from men’s magazines, or in general, due to a busy schedule, I openly “gave up” on fitness, hiding behind the excuse “we’ll catch up tomorrow.” So, the result of the last long break in training was this: in November 2015, I realized that I had gained +15 kg, neither more nor less. Taking my will into my fist, I decided to take back my sports uniform— fortunately, I have a lot of gyms in the area.

The first months I went to the gyms, which was well known. The following immediately catches your eye: most of the owners of such fitness centers forget to take care of their equipment after a few years, and the staff frankly don’t care about newcomers. You have to train on worn-out benches or run on wobbly paths, performing previously memorized complexes. Then I convinced my friend (working out together is much more fun) to buy memberships to a new fitness club near work. What attracted him was the visually large area, a bunch of exercise equipment in the strength zone and a lot of options for cardio training. Although the price tag was an order of magnitude higher than that of competitors. We trained exclusively with a personal trainer - this is really important. It may seem at first that they are trying to get extra money out of you, although in fact you are getting a full set of workouts (which always included one or two new exercises). Plus he advised us on diet and sports nutrition. All my colleagues noted the progress from the classes, and in six months I got rid of bonus extra pounds. The trainer, by the way, was not a full-time employee of the fitness club - in general, there are many visiting fitness instructors working there. Sometimes during peak hours it seems that there are as many trainers in the gym as there are clients. But since mid-May our personal trainer He began to regularly skip classes that he had paid for in advance and send us a program for the day via social networks. At first we treated this with understanding (well, you never know what situations happen in life), but then this technique began to frankly irritate us. Therefore, when I was offered to come on a guest visit to a new fitness club, we naturally agreed. And here is the result of this visit:

1. Client meeting. At the reception we were asked to put on shoe covers. Afterwards, a fitness consultant came over to introduce us to the main areas of the club and offered us a free workout (with no time limit). We took our uniform with us just in case, although it is rare for our city when a guest visit is more than just an acquaintance with the hall. We received a key to the locker and a towel, which was a pleasant surprise. Usually, in most clubs you either have to pay extra for the latter, or instead of a terry towel you get a disposable bath napkin. Here it is included in the cost of visiting. The locker room is designed for 80 visitors. The lockers, in my opinion, are a bit narrow, but, as they explained to us, the client will leave outerwear in the wardrobe at the entrance.

2. First impression. Despite the fact that the fitness club is new, it does not have the persistent smell of rubber that haunted us in other gyms. Perhaps it's a coating issue. Ventilation of the room is at the level. But the club is not yet crowded with clients, and it is difficult to say whether she can cope with the unpleasant odor from her profusely sweating neighbor at rush hour. The working area (about 600 sq. m) is divided into three zones: cardio, strength and functional training. They promise that a fitness bar will open here soon (we didn’t find it, but we found three points where you can get water). In general, at first glance, it's just very big gym, equipped with exercise equipment from famous brands. We started the workout with a cardio warm-up.

3. Cardiozone. The usual set of treadmills, ellipsoids, exercise bikes and steppers was supplemented here, for example, with lateral ellipsoids (in which the “back and forth” step is replaced by circular movements and the main load goes to internal muscles thighs and buttocks). For warming up, I liked the TradeClimber, a hybrid of a treadmill and a stepper, and my friend decided to go for the StairMaster, which resembles an escalator. Fact: the cardio equipment has a soft ride and is stable on the surface (you won’t sway to the sides if you set the incline to a high angle or run at high speed). Some models have built-in ventilation so you don't have to wipe the sweat off your face every five minutes. During your workout, you can be distracted by the view from the windows of the forest park and the Slepyanskoe reservoir.

4. Strength training. Then the fitness instructor on duty worked with us. It’s unusual, of course, when a girl trains you - but she coped well with the task: she picked up necessary simulators, exercises, number of repetitions and approaches to train the desired muscle group.

In the power zone, all the equipment is from the StarTrac company (according to Internet sources, many of the world’s famous network gyms are equipped with it). There are a lot of simulators and they are located quite close to each other. We were assured that everything was designed in such a way as not to disturb other clients while performing the exercises. I won’t go deep into the characteristics and biomechanics, I’ll note that you’re really training an isolated muscle group, without additional load on the joints.

5. In the functional training area we did a superset on the abs. Functional training I haven’t mastered it yet (I used to include a couple of TRX exercises in my workout) - but this part of the club should appeal to fans of functional training. Along the perimeter there is a large multifunctional frame with a handle bar, on which, depending on the workout, you can hang any necessary equipment: for example, a punching bag or gymnastic rings. In the center there is a special track along which the sleds are pushed. Two box masters were placed nearby. Air bikes and ski simulator. Plus, there are a lot of different fitness accessories in this area. I was glad that there are massage rolls that help you recover after a workout and relieve muscle tension.

6. Price issue. Since we were just the two of us, after the guest training we were offered to buy a “Friends” club card - it was cheaper than the standard one, but it was still more expensive than what we were paying monthly for fitness now. I am used to evaluating everything regarding money rationally and have compiled a traditional list of “pros” and “cons.” On one side there is a spacious gym, with quality equipment, beautiful view and a terrace, but without a sauna and swimming pool - but for many this is a pleasant bonus. On the other hand, there is a club that I visited regularly, with a price tag slightly higher than the average for Minsk, in which some of the spa services are included in the subscription, but for many you have to pay extra. Then I remembered about the torn parallel bars cushions twice in a year that could not be repaired for months, periodically breaking (and therefore not very high-quality) equipment, queues for cardio, problems with ventilation and drinking water. As a result, we came to the conclusion that comfort during classes, unlimited visits are more important to us, and you can go to the sauna with friends on the weekend.

Now we just need to throw sportswear and a shaker into our work bag and go for a workout at the Aquamarine class fitness club on Filimonova, 20.

There are a lot of options for club cards, and the fitness consultants of the new sports facility Minsk
