Which reservoir is best for fishing? Fishing map Where it bites

The list of reservoirs for free fishing in the Moscow region includes large reservoirs, dozens of lakes, ponds and hundreds of rivers.

Due to the constant decrease in fish stocks in these reservoirs, fish farms actively practice breeding various types fish to replenish water supplies. Uncontrolled fishing leads to the depletion of such resources.

In fact, there are still places in the Moscow region where you can go fishing and admire nature absolutely free. In addition, it is possible to bring home a small catch of fish. You can go fishing for free in the following bodies of water:

  • Inta Reservoir. Perch, pike perch and other fish are wonderfully caught here.
  • Khimki reservoir. It is located in close proximity to Moscow, which satisfies many fishermen.
  • Klyazma Reservoir. It is located on the route of the Ostashkovskaya highway, which is adjacent to the Moscow Ring Road.
  • Pirogovskoe. There is a lot of different fish found here. You can get to it by train, focusing on the Pirogovaya railway station. If you get there by car, you need to travel along Altufevskoye Highway.
  • Yauzskoe. You should get to the village of Petushkov, and then along the Novorizhskaya highway, and then along the dirt road. It is preferable to fish from a boat, although it is also possible from the shore.

Oka River

This big river, which flows through the Moscow region. There are up to 20 species of different fish in the river. Good conditions for active fishing: there are steep banks, spits, holes, etc. Excellent fishing conditions are observed in the area of the village of Lanshino.

At the mouth where the Protva River flows, there is a characteristic spit where even beginners can catch pike perch and other large fish. This place is considered the most catchy.

On bottom gear(feeder) are successfully caught here:

  • and other fish.

Not far from the village of Stviga there are no less catchable places. Moreover, fishing here is always productive at any time of the year. A lot of pike are observed within the city of Serpukhov, in the area from the railway bridge to the Warsaw highway. In this area, using a feeder, the following fish bite:

  • bream and other fish.

This river originates in the Konoplyanka River, and it flows through the Smolensk and Moscow regions. The river is characterized by the presence of many types of fish, as well as the presence of excellent recreational conditions. The Moscow River is of great importance for Moscow and its region, as it is considered the main waterway. With the arrival of spring and autumn, fish are caught in the following ways, using the following baits:

  • spinning fishing;
  • to the feeder (donka);
  • for maggots;
  • for bloodworms;
  • on the dough;
  • for boilies.

It is very important to feed the place, because without this, fishing will not be as effective. No less interesting bodies of water are located in the Southeast and South. You can go fishing without any problems here:

  1. In a bend of the river, not far from the town of Zhukovsky.
  2. In the Lytkarino area.
  3. In the Bronnitsy area.
  4. In the bend of the Pakhra River, from the village of Yam to the Novlenskaya dam.

Within Bronnitsy, near the road bridge, you can hunt for pike or pike perch. This area is listed as one of the best, compared to other areas of the reservoir. These places are also suitable for winter fishing if you use a spinning rod. Good places are located within the Kolomna Nature Reserve.

The Moscow River is distinguished by the fact that it practically does not freeze in winter due to the fact that a sufficient number of warm springs flow into it. Therefore, winter fishing on the Moscow River is of particular interest. When going fishing, you need to always be aware of the water level in reservoirs and the nature of weather conditions, which have a significant impact on the process of fishing.

This reservoir was built on the Istra River in 1935 and is the largest in the Moscow region. The length of this reservoir is about 20 km, and its width is 2 km. Its depth, in some places, reaches 20 meters. This is a strategic reservoir for Moscow and the Moscow region. It is located within an uneven terrain, with the presence of hills, fields and mixed forest. Such places are distinguished by amazing nature and are perfect for relaxation.

The following fish bite in the pond:

  • bleak;
  • roach;
  • perch, etc.

As a rule, fish are caught with a spinning rod or a donkey. Winter fishing can also be productive on this reservoir if you catch fish with spoons and jigs.

The most catchy areas:

  1. Within the island of Uyutny.
  2. Near the village of Chernushki.
  3. At the exit from the bay. Early in the morning, pike perch are caught using a spinning rod.
  4. At the mouth where the river flows into the reservoir. Nudol. From the boat, using winter baits or mugs, bream and weighty perches are caught.

The most promising place is in the bay and on the Katysh River, which flows into right side reservoirs. In winter, small perch and roach are caught. The fish are most active in early spring. The reservoir is famous for the fact that it is located in a naturally clean area. There are holiday homes on the shores of the artificial lake. Therefore, when you go fishing, you can not only catch fish, but also relax, although not for free.

How to get to the reservoir:

  • If you move along Pyatnitskoye Highway (from the Moscow Ring Road), the reservoir is located in the middle of Leningradskoye and Volokolamskoye.
  • At the intersection, turn to highway F107.
  • Head towards the village of Sokolova.
  • Turn left and after a kilometer you can see the parking lot.
  • The car should be left in the parking lot and, turning right, you need to walk a little.

Directions to the village of Lyshchevo:

  2. Then you should stay on Moskovskaya, Sovetskaya and Pervomaiskaya streets.
  3. At the T-junction, turn right towards Buzharovo.
  4. After the turn, you need to head along Sinevo and Nikitskaya.
  5. You can get to your final destination along a compacted road. If you go even further, you can reach a dead end, where before there was a children's recreation center. Now entry is free, which is what many fishermen use.

Clean ponds are not so popular among fishermen. But those fishermen go to them for whom it is not the result that is important, but the process itself. Despite this, you can catch it here:

  • carp;
  • gudgeon, etc.

Borisov ponds are located almost nearby and they contain such fish as:

  • crucian carp;
  • perch;
  • gudgeon.

The lakes in Sukhanovo are located near Moscow, and a vacation on them will remain in your memory for a lifetime.

Fishing within the village of New Miletus

The village is located close to the city of Lyubertsy. There are also a couple of ponds where you can go fishing. They are separated by a dam and local fishermen, in free time, using the usual float rod catching crucian carp.

Early morning is considered to be the most catchy, and you need to have several types of baits, such as:

  • steamed pearl barley;
  • canned corn (or regular corn);
  • dough with flavoring;
  • worms, etc.

In Losiny Ostrov Park, any gear, such as a fishing rod, spinning rod or feeder, is suitable for fishing. Here you can catch the following representatives of the underwater kingdom:

  • sturgeon;
  • soma;
  • trout;
  • crucian carp

There are tench weighing up to 1 kg, and in addition, crucian carp weighing from 0.5 to 1.5 kg. Tench is caught with a worm not far from the shore (about 4 meters), and crucian carp is caught with corn, from a distance of 7 meters or more.

In the center of the lake there is an island that can be reached by boat. Here you can catch the following types of fish:

  • pike;
  • pike perch;

How to get to the fishing spot in New Miletus?

Getting to these places will not be difficult:

  • You need to get to the Zheleznodorozhnaya stop.
  • Transfer to a minibus that goes to Poltevo.
  • You need to get off at the New Milet stop.
  • Afterwards you should walk, quite a bit. You can fish from both the dam and the dam.

According to some, modern fishing is not as interesting as it used to be. This is due to the fact that there are fewer fish, and the environmental situation wants to be better. But this is not at all true, and in our time there are quite interesting places. For example:

  • In the area of the Warsaw Highway there are two lakes where you can easily catch pike, perch, crucian carp, etc. In this case, you can use a spinning rod or a regular float fishing rod.

Get to interesting place, you can use the following route:

  • In the direction of the city of Chekhov, via the Warsaw highway.
  • When crossing the bridge, turn right in the direction of the village of Filippovskoye, where you can find 4 lakes.

  • River Dubna. It is characterized by the presence of a fast current, where you can catch bream, ide, roach, etc.
  • Ivankovskoye Reservoir, where fishermen prefer winter fishing. Pike, perch, pike perch, bream, etc. are caught.
  • Golden pin. There are crucian carp weighing up to 3 kg. An unusually beautiful place where you can enjoy not only fishing, but also relaxing.

Reservoir maps

It is the largest man-made reservoir in the Moscow region. It was formed artificially on the Volga in the 40s. The Moscow Canal is fed from this reservoir. Because of its huge volumes, it is called the Moscow Sea. About 30 species of fish have taken root in this reservoir.

Located on the Istra River, 70 kilometers from the confluence of the Moscow River. Founded in 1935 and located in the northeast. It enjoys great attention among fishermen. Its width reaches 2 km, with a length of 20 km. There are many species of fish, including large ones.

Formed on the Moscow River in the late 60s. This reservoir is not deprived of the attention of most anglers who catch bream, pike perch, pike, burbot, eel, etc. here.

Therefore, fishing in the Moscow region is quite possible even today and even for free. And for those who want to have more, there are paid reservoirs where it is possible to catch almost any fish and any size.

The main thing is to use permitted gear and fish at strictly established times and in certain places. This is the only way to leave fish in the reservoirs for our children and grandchildren.

There are quite a lot of pike in the reservoirs of the Moscow region, which can be successfully caught in the following reservoirs:

  • In Lake Krugloe or in the pond, which is located in the village of Rogovo.
  • In the Moscow River, which flows through the entire region. Throughout, there is variability in many fish species. Despite this, almost all species of fish inhabiting the Moscow region can be found in the river.
  • Bream, ide and other fish are sent from the Mozhaisk Reservoir to spawn.
  • Below this reservoir there is a very clean area where you can find asp, bream, gudgeon, etc.
  • No less interesting areas are located in Faustovo and near Sofiino.

In addition to pike, in the Moscow region you can catch heavy crucian carp:

  • Near Odintsovo station. There are old quarries here, in which there are a lot of crucian carp.
  • Within the village of Altufyevo, where there is a large reservoir inhabited by large crucian carp. They get to these places from Savelovsky station along the northern road.
  • In the Ostankino area, next to the palace museum. It is best to go fishing early in the morning. The crucian carp bites on maggots and bread.
  • In the Izmailovo area. Literally next to the station there is a pond where crucian carp are caught using bloodworms.
  • Not far from the city of Lyubertsy there is a reservoir where there are a lot of crucian carp, although not large ones.

Even though fishing is free, you still need to adhere to certain fishing rules:

  • You can't catch with nets.
  • You cannot use barbaric fishing gear.
  • You cannot use all kinds of traps.
  • One angler can install no more than five girders or circles.
  • Fishing is carried out with no more than 10 hooks.

In the Moscow region it is allowed to use the following gear:

  • spinning rods;
  • fishing rods;
  • jigs.

Prohibitions on free fishing: car

Fishing is prohibited from April 10th to June 10th. Some fluctuations are possible depending on weather conditions. Fishing is carried out with one fishing rod and two hooks. Moreover, it is allowed to fish only in places not included in the spawning zones.

Fishing may be prohibited if certain diseases are identified. If carp or carp suffer from rubella or the fish is affected by post-diplostomosis, as evidenced by black dots. In addition, fish can be a carrier of diseases such as fish or swine flu. As a rule, this applies to roach, carp, roach, and silver carp.

Despite this, fisheries monitor the health of the fish. If the source of the disease is discovered, notices are immediately posted prohibiting fishing in this body of water. In addition, they are notified through the media or through fishing forums.

Most in the Moscow region:

  • pike perch;
  • pike;
  • crucian carp, etc.

Entrepreneurs are seriously engaged in breeding carp and carp, and even sterlet, after which they stock many reservoirs with fish. There are no restrictions on fishing in the Moscow region, except for spawning and diseases.

Despite this, catching sterlet of any size is prohibited, as it is listed in the Red Book.

There are decrees aimed at increasing water resources, so you can only catch fish that have the appropriate size. If a sterlet is caught or the fish has not grown to a certain size, then it is better to release it.

Other, no less interesting fishing objects

  1. Lake Poletsk is home to bream, perch, pike, and large crucian carp.
  2. Lakes Dolgoe and Krugloe.
  3. Quite popular peat bogs located near the village of Polubarskoye, where you can catch pike or crucian carp.
  4. Lake Senezh, where ruffe, crucian carp, pike perch, and pike are found in abundance.
  5. Holy Lake can delight you with an intense bite of a variety of fish.

Paid fishing is interesting because it provides the opportunity not only to fish, but also to relax, and with the whole family. In addition, there is every chance of catching a trophy-sized fish, guaranteed. In paid reservoirs, quite interesting fish are bred for fishing, such as:

  • crucian carp;
  • sturgeon;
  • sterlet;
  • pike;
  • whitefish, etc.

Many fishermen travel hundreds of kilometers for salmon, for example, spending large sums of money. All you have to do is go to a paid reservoir and here you can catch the same trout, whitefish, etc., not counting the weighty carp and crucian carp.

Top 5 places for perfect fishing in Russia

Everyone has their own ideal holiday - for some it is a warm sea, hot sun and educational excursions. Another prefers to explore cultural values by visiting museums, temples and palaces. presents a list of top ideal fishing spots for those who cannot imagine a vacation without a fishing rod.

The system of lakes in the Tver and Novgorod regions is known, perhaps, to everyone. Ancient monuments, stunning landscapes, which, by the way, can become “allies” of a fisherman if his family does not share his hobbies. And so, fishing for one, cultural trips for others.

Fishing on Seliger is amazing: pike, pike perch, carp, bream, burbot, eel. It is clear that somewhere it is better, somewhere it is worse, but it bites almost all over Seliger.

The lake lies on the territory of three regions at once - Vologda, Leningrad and the Republic of Karelia. It's very beautiful here, and that's important. Whatever you say, aesthetics in fishing is not the least important thing.

Well, the fishing itself: in addition to the “classic” set, they bite on Lake Onega salmon, grayling and trout. Agree, the trophies are notable, and what’s especially nice is that you don’t have to go very far to get them. Yes, and you can fish on the lake both in summer and winter.

The left branch of the Volga is known for absolutely amazing fishing. The lower reaches of the Volga are generally very rich in fish - both quantitatively and qualitatively. But Akhtuba can be called one of the cult places for fisherman.

An interesting feature of the region is vegetable and melon growing. There will be a side dish for fish in the summer, fresh from the garden. In general, no matter how you look at it, it turns out to be a nice vacation, so not only fishermen can come here, but also those of their loved ones who do not share the passion for fishing.

The river flowing from Baikal is the only one, by the way, that can boast of the presence of sturgeon, sorog, grayling, burbot, tugun, taimen, dace, perch and pike. Are your eyes sparkling and your hands shaking? Of course. Add stunningly beautiful northern views and you will understand that this is an almost ideal place to involve loved ones in the “sect” of fishermen.

There is no point in talking about Lake Baikal - our miracle, our pride, our treasure. Every Russian should visit here at least once. So combine business with pleasure - go fishing and get inspired by the spirit of the mysterious Baikal.

With the onset of warmth, a large number of spinning anglers come to the shores of reservoirs near Moscow for the first trophies of the season. Read about where the most catchy places for spinning fishing are located in the Moscow region, which tales of experienced fishermen near Moscow should not be trusted, and which wiring is best to choose to attract a predator, read the material on the portal website.

Secrets of experienced people and choosing a place

Source: , pixabay.com Spinning fishing involves active movement of the fisherman around the reservoir, frequent changes of bait and adaptation of the fishing rod to the behavior of the fish in the reservoir, taking into account seasonal features. Predatory fish are found almost everywhere in the Moscow region, but catching them is a task that requires considerable fishing experience. Some even gut the first predator caught in a pond and analyze the stomach contents in order to match the chosen bait as closely as possible to the fish’s diet.

Each spinning player has a set of his own observations and secrets that come solely with experience. For example, in a quiet river backwater where pike likes to hide, the first unsuccessful retrieves do not mean that there is no pike there: sometimes it takes a lot of time to anger the predator, for which you can specifically “extinguish” the spinner or wobbler when casting, or make super-fast retrieves. These actions provoke the pike to attack, and only the fifteenth, or even the twentieth cast can be trophy.

Those spinners who have recently switched from spinners to wobblers, due to inexperience, make “non-stop” retrieves, and the wobbler is constantly in motion or even buries its nose into the bottom. It must be taken into account that a predator will very often attack the bait at the moment it stops, “hangs”. This is especially true for perch: it can chase the wobbler, make playful pseudo-attacks, but it is at the moment of stopping that the attack instinct is triggered. This, however, does not always work, and you should be more careful with a sinking wobbler - stopping too long will lead to the fact that it will completely sink to the bottom and get caught on a stone or snag.

There are a lot of nuances in spinning fishing, but even a beginner can catch a predator where it is found in sufficient quantities. There are hundreds of different bodies of water in the Moscow region, and it hardly makes sense to specifically go to the opposite part of the region for fishing. When going fishing for one or two days, it is better to choose a large body of water nearby, with convenient access, and a bank that is not swampy or overgrown with dense bushes. In the Moscow region, suitable locations are located in the north, south, east and west of the region.

In a southerly direction – Oka and Pakhra

Source: RIAMO, Yulia Titova The most famous fishing spot in the south of the Moscow region is the Oka River. A spinner can expect dozens of different trophies: pike, perch, asp, burbot, pike perch, chub and even catfish are found here. A suitable place for fishing is located not far from Serpukhov - along the Simferopol highway you need to cross the bridge over the Oka and turn towards the village of Mikhailovka, then turn towards the river onto a country road passing through the field.

Fishermen simply call this place “slabs”, since a gas pipeline runs under the river here and part of the bank is concreted. The current in this place is quite strong, with riffles, and near the coastline itself there are eddies with a reverse flow. These features attract pike perch, which begins to hunt in evening time. Here you can catch large asp and chub.

In the center of the river there is a narrow elongated island, which can only be reached by boat. From the opposite “island” shore, the type of fishing will not be different - a hard spinning rod with a dough of 5-7 grams and a fairly large tackle - a spinner from your favorite manufacturer, starting with "threes" ("twos" and "ones" due to the strong current will be suitable) fly out of the water), or a suitable wobbler with medium depth (if the blade is too short, the wobbler will be thrown out of the current, but too long blade will immediately lead to a snag). But the other side of the island may already appeal to fans of light and ultra-light fishing - the channel contains plenty of perch, small chub and pike. True, it is better to wear a leash, since sometimes large pike are found here, and it costs nothing to bite the fishing line.

For those who prefer fishing closer to Moscow, we can recommend the Pakhra River near Podolsk. Fishing places are located near the villages of Strelkovo and Ivlevo, which are separated by the Simferopol highway. The advantage of this place is convenient access and a relatively small number of competing fishermen. At first glance, an overgrown and swampy shore may seem like a drawback, but in the thick willow roots that go deep into the water, the predator hides and watches for its prey.

You should seriously prepare for fishing in this place: be sure to take a wader or fishing overalls with you. Such equipment will allow you to walk chest-deep in water and throw the bank along the bushes. Despite the likelihood of biting large fish - for example, pike or burbot - it is better to choose a short “light” so that the rod does not interfere with making your way through dense growth on the shore, and its light weight prevented my hands from getting numb when conducting with outstretched arms.

In the north there are reservoirs

Source: , pixabay.com In the north of the Moscow region, a short piece of the Volga flows, in the city of Dubna. There are widespread stereotypes among inexperienced fishermen that fishing on this river necessarily promises the capture of a trophy specimen. Volga is really good for fishing, but only downstream - in the Tver and Yaroslavl regions of fish.

In the northern part of the region, anglers should pay attention to reservoirs. Experienced fishermen know that we are talking about a cascade of six such reservoirs, connected by a canal named after Moscow - these are the Klyazminskoye, Pirogovskoye, Pyalovskoye, Uchinskoye, Pestovskoye and Ikshinskoye reservoirs. All of them are located between Dmitrovskoye and Yaroslavskoye highways within the boundaries of the Moscow Small Ring. It is worth remembering that fishing on the Uchinsky reservoir is completely prohibited.

The most common predators here are perch, pike and pike perch. And the stories about catfish caught in these places are more like fishing tales. There is no universal “spinning” recipe for these places. The main thing is to pay attention to the weather, especially the strength of the wind and its direction. Since these are quite full-flowing and deep water bodies, fishing can be ruined by a surge wave - therefore, on a windy day you should not choose a leeward shore for fishing.

The most convenient and at the same time catchable place in these parts there is a section of the Moscow Canal between the villages of Novoseltsevo and Stepankovo, which are connected by a forest country road. Spinning fishing here will be comfortable even in strong winds, and the pine forest adjacent to the shore will not leave any nature lover indifferent.

In the east direction – Klyazma and Moskva River

Source: , pixabay.com The eastern direction cannot boast of an abundance of large bodies of water. Klyazma is of greatest interest to spinning players here. Good places start along the river from the city of Losino-Petrovsky all the way to Noginsk and further to Pavlovsky Posad. The width of the river in these sections is such that a spinning rod can span the entire reservoir, while maintaining long and high-quality retrieves.

It is here that a valuable and quite rare fish for the Moscow region is found - burbot. To catch it with a spinning rod, it is better to use diverter leash, and use a jig as a tackle. Burbot, although a predatory fish, is far from aggressive. This method of fishing allows you to make slow retrieves with a smooth deepening and raising of the jig - the burbot will attack the bait when it appears at its nose.

The Moscow River also flows in the southeast of the region, where you can count on productive fishing near the city of Bronnitsy. The river here is wide, and one cast cannot cross it, so it’s small inflatable boat with the ability to drop anchor will be very useful. The same species are found here predatory fish, as in Oka.

The disadvantage of this place is that it is very popular among fishermen - you should not count on privacy with nature. But here you can always communicate with other spinners and gain valuable experience.

In the west - the Moscow River and reservoirs

Very popular among fishermen. This popularity is mainly due not to the fact that it is free, but to the fact that it is a “wild” way of catching fish.

In this article, you will see on the map all the reservoirs of Moscow and the Moscow region, where fishing is completely free.

Borisovskie Prudy Park is perfect for those who want to hang out with a fishing rod. It is located far from metro stations, but for fishing lovers this is a plus - the place is quiet, no one will disturb or scare away the fish. The catch can be prepared right there - there are picnic areas with shelters and barbecues.

You will not go wrong if you choose the Bitsa Forest as a place for fishing: the Bitsa, Gorodnya and Chertanovka rivers flow through its vast territory. If you get bored of sitting with a fishing rod, you can always stroll through the spruce forests planted at the beginning of the 20th century, or visit one of the surviving estates. An area with two stone fireplaces, a table and a long “bar” counter is well suited for outdoor recreation. If you value home comfort, you will need tips on choosing the right furniture for cozy gatherings.
