In November, the average air temperature fluctuates between -5 degrees Celsius. In the winter months it increases to -10 degrees. Thanks to the artificial snowmaking system, even in the warmest weather, the trails are maintained in excellent condition.

Loza resort trails

The Loza ski resort has 4 tracks different levels complexity. Despite the fact that there are few slopes here, each of them is interesting for professionals and amateurs. The thing is that the slopes take place in the most picturesque places here, which means that in addition to the skiing experience, a person will also receive aesthetic pleasure!

To better understand the uniqueness of each descent, it is worth talking about them separately.

  1. Green Descent
The safest route for beginners, which is easy to complete regardless of the athlete’s level of training. The length of the route is only 300 meters, and the elevation difference is about 40 meters. With such indicators, we can safely say that skiing will be a pleasure, and passing the route will not cause problems. There are no difficult turns on the descent itself, and therefore it will not be difficult at all to cover the distance from start to finish.
In addition to this easy descent, the resort also has a training track where children and adults can begin to learn skiing skills.
  2. Two blue tracks
Blue slopes are suitable for both beginners and athletes with an average level of training. The length of these routes is 250 and 400 meters respectively. With a height difference of about 50 meters, it can be difficult for some athletes to cover the entire distance from start to finish.
In addition, the tracks have sharp turns and unpredictable sections where it is difficult to stay on your feet. And yet, for experienced athletes, it will not be difficult to go through the local drifts. The decent width of the route makes the entire journey much easier for travelers.
  3. Red Descent
While the blue slopes are suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes, the red slope is the exclusive prerogative of professionals. The length of the descent itself is about 300 meters, and given the large elevation difference of 60 meters, it is very difficult to pass some sections. In addition, the track is not very wide, which means that it is really problematic to fit into turns.

Of course, a small number of trails is a drawback of the Loza resort, but perhaps in the future their number will increase noticeably.

Cost of services

Prices at the Loza ski center can be called truly affordable. So, for example, one lift up the mountain on weekdays will cost travelers 20 rubles, and a lift on weekends will cost 40 rubles. You can also purchase season pass for 6000 rubles.

In recent years, celebrating the New Year at ski resorts has become increasingly popular. Reviews about the resort "Loza"

  • He lived all his life in Shchelkovo. I remember “Vine” from school. There were competitions among children. Now the resort is modern, with ski lifts. I don’t have money or time, but it’s a pleasure to go to “Loza” along Yaroslavka on a day off when the weather is suitable. The prices are reasonable, the slopes have variable slopes, which adds to the drive. I like. Sometimes I go to Dmitrovsky district ride, but mostly to Loza, because it’s close and convenient to get to. You can even pass through the forest, but this is at your own peril and risk. Because in snowy weather there is a high risk of getting stuck.

  • We were here for the first time on March 8 with a girlfriend. Both are beginner snowboarders, so we rode on the training slope. We struggled with the lift for a long time, not knowing how to use it, until one of the instructors showed us how to do it correctly. No changing rooms. I had to change my clothes at the rental office and my shoes in the car. Overall not bad. Then there was March 10th. There are a lot of people on the training slopes, which is not good for us, because we ourselves are beginners. But on the steep slopes there are very few people. We even envied them a little because they could ride freely. It’s okay, we’ll soon become better in terms of skill, we’ll skate there. I liked the atmosphere at the resort. Very pleasant, kind, like something out of an American Christmas movie. The staff is nice, polite, prices are normal. The local cafe is very tasty. You can also rent barbecues, but we never had the chance. Everyone planned to come in the summer, but it didn’t work out. As soon as the season starts, we will go again.

  • So-so place. It’s better to drive to and ride there in comfort. The slopes are low and short, and a proper toilet has only recently appeared. The yoke is inconvenient, especially for children. In general, I don't recommend it. The main reason we come is barbecue in nature. You can rent a grill right there, as well as firewood. The place is ideal for such a holiday: forest, nature, not many people, especially outside winter season, when the tracks are not working.
