Russian national football team. Sabitov Renat Kharisovich

Midfielder

Description

Renat Kharisovich Sabitov was born on June 13, 1985 in Moscow. Renat's first coach was Vladimir Kuzishchev. Sabitov graduated from the USC Chertanovo football school, signing a contract with Khimki near Moscow after graduation. At that time, Khimki was coached by Ravil Sabitov. In total, Renat spent 2 seasons as a member of the Moscow region team, playing exclusively for the reserve team.

The first serious step in his career was the transfer in 2004 to another club near Moscow. In Ramenskoye “Saturn”, the coach of the reserve team, Nikolai Kiselyov, liked the footballer during the trial. With the ramen players, the player took 3rd place in the Russian youth championship. In 2005, the player was rewarded for his efforts, receiving the right to play in the main team of the “aliens”. Out of 30 matches of the Russian championship, Renat played in 16, another meeting took place in the Russian Cup. The young football player became the discovery of Saturn. In the same year, Sabitov made his debut for the Russian junior team.

On May 4, 2006, Sabitov scored his first goal against... Moscow Spartak in a Russian Cup match. The footballer’s brilliant play could not go unnoticed; the “red and whites” were one of the first to pay attention to Renat. The negotiations, which began in early December, ended on the 23rd when the official contract was signed. 2007 was one of the most successful years for young player. Renat almost constantly found himself in the Spartak team, and in May he was recognized best football player in the “red-white” camp. Got a football player and silver medals Russian Championship.

Problems began in the spring of 2008, when Renat Sabitov was put up for transfer. After an offer from Khimki, the footballer was loaned to a club near Moscow. Renat played 17 games for Khimki, after which he returned to the camp of the Moscow club in December.

In the 2009 season, the footballer continued to play for the “red-whites”, having played 19 meetings for Spartak.

A student of the Chertanovo football school, where he studied with coach Alexander Vadimovich Kuzishchin. Sabitov also played as a member of the Moscow national team, with which he won the Russian Youth Championship. At the age of 16, he signed a contract with the Khimki club, coached by Ravil Sabitov. Sabitov spent 2 seasons as a member of Khimki, playing for the reserve team, where he played 43 matches.

In 2004, Sabitov moved to Ramenskoye “Saturn”, having liked the team’s reserve coach Nikolai Kiselyov during the screening. The first season in the new team, he played for the reserve team, winning 3rd place in the reserve team tournament. Since 2005, Sabitov began to regularly play for the first team of Saturn, for which he played 16 games in the Russian Championship and 1 in the National Cup. In May 2005, Sabitov was called up to the Russian junior team. Later he played for the youth team. On May 4, 2006, Sabitov scored his first goal at professional level, hitting the goal of Spartak Moscow in a Russian Cup match with a falling kick.

In December 2006, negotiations began regarding Sabitov’s transfer to Spartak. On December 23, he became a player for the “red-whites,” for whom he had been a fan since childhood. In his first season at Spartak, Sabitov performed regularly, playing 20 matches. In May he was recognized best player club. In November 2007, in a friendly game with Elche, he suffered a fracture of the fibula, due to which it took a long time to recover, as a result of which he played only 3 games.

In July 2008, Sabitov was loaned to the Khimki club until the end of the season. Sabitov played 17 matches for the Moscow region club.

In December, Sabitov returned to Spartak. He had elective surgery to remove the plate that was inserted during last year's surgery. In the 2009 season, Sabitov played 19 matches for Spartak, competing for a place in the lineup with Sergei Kovalchuk and Rafael Carioca. In 2010, another defensive midfielder Alexander Sheshukov moved to Spartak, competing with Sabitov.

On December 23, 2010, Sabitov moved to Tom. The contract was designed for 2.5 years, but a year later it was terminated, since Tom was unable to fulfill its contractual obligations. During the year at Tom, Sabitov played 27 matches in the Premier League and 1 in the Russian Cup.

On February 2, 2012, it became known that Sabitov signed a contract until the end of the season with Sibir. Sabitov played 9 matches for the Novosibirsk team.

On June 30, 2012, Sabitov returned to Tom, signing a 1-year contract. On July 23, Sabitov scored his first goal for the team from Tomsk, hitting the Sibir goal, and thus brought Tom victory in the Siberian derby over his former club.

Sabitov missed the entire 2013 due to a serious knee injury, thus playing in only 7 Tom matches in the Russian Championship in the 2013/14 season. In July 2014, he became captain of the Tomsk club.

On the eve of the start of the new season, the Mordovia players decided that the captain’s armband would decorate the sleeve of Renat SABITOV’s T-shirt. The 31-year-old football player has a rich biography behind him. The one who was entrusted to lead the Saransk team under any circumstances tells about what preceded Sabitov’s move to Saransk and how the election of the captain took place. The focus, of course, is on the first match of the season, with a smooth “bridge” to the meeting with "Spartak-2".

- Renat! Let's start from the beginning. You took your first football steps in Chertanovo, then there were Khimki, Saturn, Spartak... And who brought the new captain of Mordovia to football?!

Mother. It so happened that by that time my brother was already studying at football school. In general we sports family: dad played football, mom skied. Therefore, I also needed to somehow decide on sports.

- How did your brother’s career work out?

You scored your first goal in your career while playing for Saturn. At the gates of Spartak. Later you admitted to reporters that you don’t remember this goal at all.

Yes, the semi-final of the Russian Cup in 2006. The ball jumped out at me. I understand that you need to hit as quickly as possible. I mentally imagine where the goal is approximately and shoot. The team begins to rejoice - it means they got it. But I didn’t see the moment the ball crossed the goal line.

- And in December of the same year, Spartak decided to sign a contract with you. From whom did the invitation come?

From Vladimir Grigorievich Fedotov. May his memory be blessed. He was a wonderful person. I remember him very often.

- Tell us about the move to Mordovia. How did it all come together?!

After the last season, we talked with my agent, Alexei Nikolaevich Safonov. We were looking for options. It so happened that I missed the home training camp in Saransk. Perhaps at this moment negotiations were underway with other teams. Then we found out that Dmitry Nikolaevich Cheryshev was interested in me. I also didn’t mind working together, since we had communicated before.

- Have you received any offers from abroad or the Premier League?

I have had negotiations with foreign clubs before. In general, you should rather contact your agent with this question. He and I only considered specific proposals. Last year, it so happened that we hoped and waited for a long time, and in the end I spent almost two months without work. Therefore, we have now clearly decided for ourselves: if there are specifics and we are satisfied with the proposal, then we will immediately sign the contract.

- The team chose you as captain. Who did you prefer? They usually don’t vote for themselves...

Of course, I never even thought about voting for myself. Personally, I saw a captain in Maxim Astafiev. But somehow he immediately refused. Maxim is older and more experienced, and he has a certain weight in the team. Plus Ilya Chebanu! Because he has been here for several years, he already knows everything, is very sociable and always puts the guys in a positive mood. We chose him as vice-captain because he always gets our team going in a good way. Many people think that being a captain means putting on an armband and that’s it. Of course not! In fact, there is much more responsibility here than any privileges.

Let's move on to the opening match. Our team had noticeably more control of the ball, attacked a lot, but ultimately failed to score. Why is that?!

When we flew back from Vladivostok, we had time to talk about it and weigh everything well. It is clear that nothing can be changed. But the guys, including me, were very upset by this defeat. It was necessary to score. If we had managed to do this, maybe the game would have been completely different. Having returned to Saransk, we analyzed the match and understood where and what our shortcomings were. We look for the cause of defeat only in ourselves. I think we will definitely correct the situation. The necessary adjustments have already been made.

It was clear from the game that the Mordovia team was functionally well prepared. They let Luch hold the ball for a bit at the end of the first half, and in the second half they steadily locked the opponent in their half of the field. True, there Luch was already playing to hold the score. Were these moral and volitional qualities or a consequence of excellent preparation for the season?

The coaches ask us to play 95 minutes. From start to finish! Until it sounds final whistle. We subconsciously keep this in our heads. As a rule. And we always adhere to it. We talk about this a lot among ourselves, it’s being properly configured. Our task, regardless of what minute is ticking and what the score is on the scoreboard, is to stick to our line, always act at the maximum, and constantly attack. This is our football.

And yet, in the last 5-10 minutes the team made mistakes. Perhaps because you are still under load?

Partly. And this is the first official match, the desire to change the score as quickly as possible, and, accordingly, excitement. The entire team prepared at a fast pace, spent a lot of effort, and were energized for the game. Therefore, naturally, we wanted more. Perhaps this is where the errors come from.

- By role you are a defender, but you played in the supporting zone.

We discussed it with the coach in advance. We decided that I could act both there and there. In general, I am ready to play in any position if it does not harm the team’s interests.

You were a Spartak player and it’s no secret that you are a fan. Will the match with the red-white reserves be something special for you?

Not with backups, but with the second team. (Smiles). I think they might be offended by the term “understudies.” With age, I must admit, every meeting becomes important. And match day is always special. Like a full-fledged holiday. Of course, I have many pleasant memories. It is possible that I will meet old acquaintances. So yes, there is such a thing. For me this is a match with a special touch.

- Do you know any of the players from the second team?

To be honest, I didn’t really follow them. And we haven’t had a review of the previous Spartak-2 match yet. We just finished the away match with Luch.

You have a very eventful career behind you. Tell me, were there any players or coaches in it who were remembered for something special? Evgeny Bashkirov, for example, is said to love reading.

We played together in “Tom” with Bashkirov. You can really talk to him endlessly about reading. A unique person, of course. In general, I was probably very lucky that every coach I worked with gave me a lot - probably both in football and in life. Starting with the childhood mentor and ending with today. And if you start remembering everyone now, it will take a lot of time. I'm just very glad that these people appeared in my life.

- Who influenced you the most? Just like a coach.

First, of course, Alexander Vadimovich Kuzishchin - back in children's school. Then Tarkhanov. At Saturn, Alexander Fedorovich, it turns out, opened the way for me to big football. Well, Fedotov, of course, is in Spartak - as I already said. I repeat, I am happy that fate brought me together in football with wonderful people, true professionals in their field. Believe me, there are many of them.

What are Dmitry Cheryshev’s distinctive character traits? What characterizes the head coach of Mordovia most?!

There are such traits. I just don’t know if all such secrets can be revealed. (Smiles). First of all, he is a man of discipline. And also a human battery. He is constantly on the move, constantly keeping himself and us on our toes. At every training session he was constantly on the lookout, studying something, encouraging us, getting us going. Emotionally he is similar to a Spanish coach, who constantly waves his arms during a match and vigorously advises his players. It’s like he’s on the field himself! And I can also note that all the main points are communicated to the team in a very accessible way. When there is mutual understanding, the work process becomes highly dynamic.

Firstly, this is a stadium. (Laughs). The most visited and therefore our favorite place. In general, it’s nice to walk to “Start” along a large pedestrian zone - from the university buildings. Musical fountain, then in the direction of the Ushakov Temple, past the eternal flame and down the paving stones, where the monument to Pushkin is. You come across a lot of beautiful things along the way.

- Thank you very much for the interview, Renat. Good luck in the upcoming games!

I can only thank you in return. Cheer for us, come support the team at the stadium. We will try to please the fans with beautiful football and victories.

Interviewed by Ivan ZHIDOV

Pupil of the Chertanovo sports school (Moscow). The first coach is Alexander Kuzishchin.

Clubs: "Khimki" Khimki (2001 - 2004, 2008), "Saturn" Ramenskoye (2004 - 2007), "Spartak" Moscow (2007 - 2008, 2009 - 2010), "Tom" Tomsk (2011, 2012 - ... ), "Siberia" Novosibirsk (2012).

Played 2 matches for the Russian Olympic team.

WITH SUCH PARTNERS, A DEBUTANT IS NOT SCARED

This season, a whole group of players from the club's reserve team got a chance to prove themselves in the Premier League, but only Renat Sabitov managed to gain a foothold in the first team. In addition, the young football player began to constantly be involved in the Russian youth team. There, as a rule, he plays in the usual position of a supporting midfielder. But at the Saturn base, Renat, oddly enough, made his debut as a full-back. Then he played in the middle line, so the versatility of the footballer, who in relation to the Moscow Region club can easily be called the main discovery of the season, cannot but captivate.

I started playing football at the age of 9 sports school“Chertanovo was coached by Alexander Kuzishchin, and after graduation he played for Khimki in the KFK tournament,” says Sabitov.

How did you get to Saturn from the third division?

The viewing was successful. Everything was decided at the final pre-season training camp, when Nikolai Kiselev took charge of the team. Maybe they left me because there weren’t enough people (laughs).

What achievements could you boast of at that time?

Any success is remembered. And third place in last year’s doubles tournament, and victory at the Russian Youth Championship as part of the Moscow team, and first place at the Games of the CIS and Baltic countries, although I played a little at the last tournament.

This year you made your debut in the Premier League. What do you remember about the very first match?

Very strong support from the team and coaches. Before the game, both the main players and partners from the reserve team supported us. Already on the field, Viktor Onopko was always ready to help. However, expressing gratitude, I can safely list almost the entire Saturn application list.

How did newspapers begin to perceive assessments?

I always find it interesting to watch them. In addition, this is one of the additional incentives. In general, I try to listen. To the family that is always there, to the coaches, to the teammates. I consider any opinion useful.

Does six months in the Premier League allow us to say that during this period you have grown as a football player?

I don't think I have the right to judge this. From the outside, as they say, you know better. In confidence, I agree, I added, but this is a merit coaching staff and partners. Saturn has a great team.

In addition to a place in the main team, you also regularly received calls to the Russian youth team.

Every call-up to the national team is an event for me, as for any football player. When Andrei Chernyshov was invited to join the team for the first time, it was a pleasant surprise. It seems like I only watched this team on TV, but now I’m part of it myself. I think every match for the youth team brought me some benefit. True, the experience is still small - only two halves. One is against Latvia, the second is against Portugal.

At one time you played in another team - with Ravil Sabitov. Have there been enough jokes about the same surnames from your partners?

Those who did not know that we were just namesakes asked: “Will your father call you to the meeting?” (Laughs.) However, even when everyone knew that the head coach and I had no family ties, the partners did not stop joking.

The difference between the club and the national team at first was your role on the field. In the reserve team and in the youth team, you acted in the usual position of a holding midfielder, but in the Premier League you began to get comfortable as a full-back. How difficult was it to change?

For me, just getting on the field in Premier League matches was real happiness, so I didn’t even think about the position. In addition, it is easier for the coach to determine where a player can benefit the team. And with such partners as in Saturn, adaptation in defense did not take much time. Football is a team game, and partners kept mistakes to a minimum.

Which place is more comfortable for you?

Since school I have always played in the center of the field, but I am ready to play wherever they put me.

What’s interesting is that defenders, by definition, break the rules more often, and you, as a defensive player, are injured.

This is football, where it is impossible to predict everything in advance. And in that episode, most likely, it was not the opponent’s fault. I landed unsuccessfully myself.

We returned and immediately got a place in the main team. Are you satisfied with the ending season?

Every year leaves something good in the memory, and this time I have plenty of positive emotions. One debut in the Premier League is worth something. And what kind of teammates I have! Having gotten to know them better, I was once again convinced that they are not only great football players, but also amazing people. Moreover, at Saturn they gave me a chance to prove myself. And, of course, I would like to thank our loyal fans for their support and patience.

During this time, fans managed to recognize Sabitov as a football player. What are your hobbies in everyday life?

Family comes first in life. IN free time I try to communicate with friends. With those with whom I went to school, and with my teammates. And if we talk about hobbies, then, perhaps, I can say that I am fond of cinema. But it’s difficult to name any favorite actors or films: I like almost everything.

You have one interesting touch: the lack of a mobile phone.

- (Laughs.) This is perhaps your most difficult question. By the way, my friends often ask me this question. I answer that I don’t deserve it. Yes, and I don’t see the need yet.

Judging by the way you are progressing, you can say that you are a learning footballer. How was your performance at school?

While studying at the Youth Sports School, I spent more time training, but I also tried not to miss lessons. Thanks to the teachers who made certain concessions for us. Now I understand that when they really demanded, they tried for our sake. And now I study at the Moscow State Academy of Physical Culture in Malakhovka. At least that's what I'm trying to do.
